Walmart donna tx pharmacy

Long story short I have an elderly family member who is quite disabled. He shops at the same Walmart all the time with his service dog as he had a hard time with mobility, it's where his pharmacy is, and always uses the electric carts. He buys a whole bunch of stuff (has the receipt). He rides the cart out into the parking lot and onto the sidewalk directly in front of the store because he has no help this day and can't make it to the bus stop alone. (granted it shouldn't have left the lot) security approaches him as he is waiting and tells him he's stealing their cart. He explains and gets off. Anyone that sees him on two feet can tell he is an elderly disabled man. They take the cart back to the store. A few minutes later as he waits for the bus, the police show up and arrest his m for theft of the cart. He gets pretty banged up. The store apologizes via phone but does not drop the charges. Is this really appropriate? He has a history of using their store for the pharmacy, his phone plan, and other items. Has never had a problem there, and has no record of theft and spent quite a bit of money that day. Can we fight this, and how?

I realized I am out of vitamin D drops for my 2 month old. It's a holiday weekend in the US so pharmacy will not be open until Tuesday to pick up the refill. Is this something I can get over the counter and if so, is it the same as what I would get from the pharmacist? If not is it ok for LO to go a couple days without the vitamin D drops?

I'm a fun, confident, and outgoing woman! I love getting to know people! I'm really excited that I'll get to move to a proper city! It's not as easy to meet people in the small town I live in. Everyone is either too busy, moving to Vancouver, or twice my age.

How I realized I'm not cis:
Like most trans people, it took a really long time for me to realize I wasn't cis. I spent several years dressing as a woman in private and using a feminine name before realizing that wasn't very cis of me. Up to that point, I had been in denial about my desire to be a woman. Despite fighting against it with all my might, I could never stop myself from buying a bunch of cute clothes whenever I went shopping at Walmart.
After I started questioning my identity, I realized that I had been acting like such an egg for my whole life! I really don't know how it took 21 years for my egg to crack lol. I mean, no cis guy is constantly overwhelmed by jealousy of women's fashion and makeup! No cis guy wishes that he was born a woman!

Why I'm moving out:
Due to health issues, my family found out I was a trans woman. They ended up being just as transphobic as I knew they would be. On top of that, they invalidate my health concerns and feelings in general. I can no longer put up with them. Plus, I currently live in a small town in the Lower Mainland. There are multiple "Freedumb convoy" supporters on every street.
I'm looking to move to a decently sized city with more job opportunities. I currently work as a Math and Science tutor for high school students, but I'm looking to get back into retail work.

My career plans:
In the first few months after I get a retail job, I will study for the Cisco CCNA exam so I can get a higher paying job as a help desk specialist. After working in help desk for about 6-8 months, I will have the necessary experience to work as a network technician (which is a well-paying job)!

My qualifications:
I have a Pharmacy Assistant diploma and the CompTIA A+ certificate. The CompTIA A+ qualifies me to do computer repair and help desk type jobs.
I've spent the last few months studying interpersonal, sales, and customer service skills. I've made a massive improvement in these skills since the beginning of the year. While I'm not quite at company spokesperson level, I can definitely succeed in any customer service role!

I'm happy to live with anyone, regardless of gender or orientation. I myself am a lesbian trans woman (transbian?). However, I do not want to live with any cis straight man.
I don't smoke, use cannabis, or use any kind of street drug. I don't mind if you drink or use cannabis responsibly, but I don't want to live with someone who smokes or uses illegal drugs. I don't drink too much these days because alcohol can cause health issues if on Spironolactone.
Someone who is upfront with any concerns. For example, if you want me to leave a bit more space for your food in the fridge, please tell me. I sometimes miss body language gestures, so it's best to say things in a more direct way like "Can you leave a bit more room in the fridge so I can fit more of my food in there?".
Although I'm a fun and easygoing woman, I don't like partying. Specifically, the kind of partying where everyone is high or drunk, loud music, and a huge mess that takes hours to clean up.
I go to bed at 10 pm and wake up at 6 am. After 10, I'd like you to be reasonably quiet.

I'm currently on a low dose of Estrogen and Spironolactone. Once I get a job as a Network Technician in 2-3 years, I will start fully transitioning.

Anyone else encountered this? I live in Houston, TX (Been working for walmart for only a month and a half at this point) and we close at 11pm. There's been instances where people come at 11:05 and are shocked we're closed or they'll ask if we're still 24hr. One lady actually walked through the side door as I was leaving and asked if she could come in cause she was just getting one thing. I told her "We're closed and the managers probably won't let you buy anything." and she still went in. Anyone else come across these situations before?

Okay, so I have been on wegovy for 7 weeks (0.25mg), and went to refill my prescription again today because I know there is a shortage, and Walmart pharmacy normally does refills a week in advance.
Anyway, I call because my order says delayed, thinking the shortage had struck here as well, and the pharmacy says I need a PA for my insurance submitted.
I go through express scrips and have bcbs, and was told when I was approved for wegovy initially it would be good through November. Unfortunately this was right when they closed for the weekend, so I am not going to be able to talk to literally anyone until Tuesday because of Memorial Day.
I’m wandering if maybe they didn’t think that the 0.25mg dose was appropriate to stay on for 12 weeks, or something else, but was wandering if by any chance someone else had experienced this bad know why it’s happening.

I have applied to 5 different pharmacies in my area and none of them will hire me. It's a smaller city so there isn't much to choose from to begin with, but its still frustrating! They always want someone with at least 1 year experience in retail pharmacy even though i did an externship at Walgreens.
I dress business professional even when I'm just going in to give them my resume and certification, smile, take initiative, tell them in willing to license in the state I'm in, and yet they always say the same thing... "uh we are looking for someone with a little more experience". How can anyone gain experience when they won't hire anyone? I applied to Walmart and took their assessment and failed. Same with CVS, they do a similar test assessment, I failed that too. Seems like all the pharmacies that are willing to take new hires with no experience are in the East, but I'm in the West. Everyone always says they will hire literally anyone at the groceries store, but they won't. They make assessments where it's freakin hard to pass. Lol Any advice for landing that first pharmacy job?

Is this a Walmart Pharmacy policy? They said that the day it’s filled depends on which pharmacist is working…. I have 1 pill left and am going out of town and now will have to go 5 days without meds since they won’t fill it today. I was basically told “too bad” by the pharmacist.
I understand that there are strict regulations, but I have gone to other pharmacies in the past that didn’t do this. I know I’m not the only one that is experiencing frustration with the song and dance of fitting medication pickup into my schedule and this just isn’t realistic for people with ADHD.

I take benzodiazepines everyday for anxiety subsequent to Asperger's syndrome. I began taking them while fully aware that I would develop a physical dependency. I have been dependent before so I know how tapering them works and how much more difficult it is than SSRI tapering. But SSRIs do absolutely nothing for my anxiety and I refuse to take numbing antipsychotic monoamine antagonist drugs like seroquel, abilify, or risperdal (the latter two are approved to treat irritability in autism so some psyches like to put autistic people on them). So through my social network I was able to find a doctor who skips all the bullshit and goes straight to the medications that actually work. I have noticed a pattern in which some pharmacists seem like they wish they didn't have to dispense benzos. Once, I tried to pick up my prescription on the 27th day simply because that was the day I saw the doctor and I happened to be grocery shopping at my pharmacy that day. They talked to me like I was some sort of addict. This was for 0.5mg alprazolam 3 times daily (so not that much). I am currently on 2mg clonazepam daily. When I call the pharmacy to ask "is it ready" or "has it been called in", they act very cheerful until they see that I am on a benzo monotherapy (just kpin and nothing else).
In fact, my doctor is blacklisted from CVS, Walmart, and Walgreens due to what they believe to be an excessive number of benzo scripts. They won't fill for me or any of his patients despite the doctor having a M.D. Meanwhile, in Mexico I could pick up any benzo that I want without even having a script.
I am not sure if pharmacists realize this but : The entire reason we have fentanyl in the US now is because they cracked down super hard on the pill mills (which despite being essentially pay-for-script, provided measurable and precise doses of opioids to people who either wanted to get high or skip the bullshit weak treatments). They thought that by making it hard to get pills, they would get the real pills off the street. The DEA got what they wanted and now overdoses are 4-5x higher than they were at the height of the "oxy epidemic" in 2010. They literally should have just let the pill mills operate as is. There will always be demand for benzos and opioids. Prohibition just encourages more illicit fentanyl production. I have a libertarian mindset and believe that I have an inherent right to ingest or purchase whatever drug that I want. If everyone on fentanyl was able to get oxy or even heroin instead, the world would be a much better place. While I don't deny that overdoses have increased relative to the 1990s, I also can't help but think of the "prescription drug crisis" as at least partially being a liberal rebranding of the War on Drugs. Particularly now that they have moved on from opioids to now other classes of drugs like benzos or adderall. The medical community, pharmacists, and DEA have cracked down and the pills haven't gone away. Instead we have : "dirty 30s" pressed with fentanyl, "adderall" that is actually pressed methamphetamine, and "xanax" that is really flualprazolam or some other untested RC benzo. College kids will continue to use adderall to study regardless of not having ADHD- do we really want them to be taking actual meth instead? Without even knowing it?

I found a natural cure through an AIP diet which led me to an animal based diet.
I was diagnosed a year ago 08/22 with AA. I was in Austin TX on vacation when I trimmed my beard with a new trimmer and noticed a clean bald spot on my chin. I thought it was due to the new trimmer and its power I might have clipped too hard. A week later we are home and im randomly playing with my beard and I feel a really smooth spot where I thought I trimmed too hard. I run to the mirror and to my shock I see this spot is as smooth as a baby's butt. I start freaking out and find this forum to join all you guys and be in a very similar boat, even though all our stories are different, I felt very close to you all and your experiences. This sub reddit is a nice community and very comforting.
I quickly made a dermatologist appt the next morning and had the appt a few days later. I showed up to the derm and all the doc did was look at it and diagnose me with AA. Doc prescribed me 2 creams, one was covered via insurance (I forget what its called), and the other was Xeljanz which cost me $50 to ship from some Florida pharmacy. I used these creams 2x a day for a few months. I felt as if they did nothing except waste my time and irritate the heck out of my skin. I looked like these creams were burning my skin off. I would have to take breaks for days then go back to using them, this was not effective medicine.
I am a highly active person, I do CrossFit everyday, I drink nearly a gallon of water a day, I walk my puppy for miles everyday, and I basically walk 10k steps at work. So I thought this routine made me the healthiest person every! Boy I was wrong, because being active is only half the battle, the other half is diet.
So this leads me to my next discovery which changed the course of my AA journey. I started following and discovering instagram influencer who were changing their diets to Carnivore for Immune System problems. that's when it clicked that AA is 100% an auto immune disease, and this is something that we all know. So these pills and creams that we are prescribed don't fix the core problem, which is the immune response. I realized the only way to fix that is by what we are putting in our mouth and directly effecting our gut.
The Carnivore diet is pretty intense and hard to keep it going due to the lack of fiber, so I discovered a brand of the Carnivore diet called the Animal Based Diet. This diet is meat, fruit, honey, and maple syrup. There are dozens of influencers and articles out there about the animal based diet, you can easily google it. But if you guys need any help or pointers id gladly help. Once switching to this diet, I immediately stopped taking the creams which were doing more harm than good. I stopped obsessing over my spots in the mirror, and one day months later when I was looking at myself in the mirror, I lifted up my beard hairs to see what was going on in there, and to my surprise my spots were all gray but completely filled in.
Now almost 1 year later, my spots are 95% filled in. 75% black again and the rest is gray, which im totally fine with. Moral of the story, switch to the Animal Based diet, workout, drink a ton of water, and live a stress free lifestyle. I promise you'll see the same results as me. Ditch the medicines, big Pharma just wants to keep you sick. You will heal too. It starts with food and fixing your gut.

A few weeks ago I was in San Marcos, TX and I got rear ended while trying to exit a Walmart parking lot. It was at very low speeds so no one was hurt but I drive a Prius and the other guy drives a Jeep Liberty so there was damage to my car. We pulled into a nearby parking lot and exchanged info, he gave me his insurance and I gave him mine and he gave me his phone number. I did not call the cops because I was in a hurry to get somewhere and no one was injured. I called my insurance and gave them im his info and they opened a claim with his insurance. Over the next 3 weeks I keep trying to get in touch with his insurance company, but they keep dodging my calls. Eventually I get a hold of them just for them to tell me that this guy’s policy expired 5 months ago and that there is nothing they can do. I text the guy, wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt (maybe in the heat of the moment he accidentally gave me the wrong paper), but he hasn’t responded in several days now. I am now out of state for another month and even when I go back to Texas, I live ~3 hours away from where the accident occurred so it’s not like I can just easily show up at his house or something. What do I do from here? How do I get my car fixed ideally without having to pay for it out of pocket. Do I call the cops? Do I take him to small claims? Any advice is greatly appreciated

I've worked for Walmart Pharmacy for 12 years and just accepted a job at a specialty pharmacy that uses Liberty software. The pharmacy is relatively new, as is the staff. I am absolutely daunted by this software. It varies wildly when comparing it to Walmart's Connexus. Any tips, tricks, or useful information that could help me get acquainted with it better? I just took my 4th dose of 2.5 last Saturday and will be taking my 1st dose of 5 this Saturday, so I would like to share my story using Mounjaro.

I won't be sharing personal info like location.

I have been on a little health journey since the first of the year. Starting at 206 at 5'6" I started having new stretchers appear on my lower abdomen and sides. I gained weight in college and now at 27 I am uncomfortable with my size and how I look.
From January through April I only lost 3 lbs and couldn't tell a difference in the mirror nor in my progress pics. I had been eating better but still drinking on the weekends and having some issues binging. I also started crossfit (in march) 3x a week and yoga (in january) 1x a week as a way to increase my fitness (hopefully).
I had been seeing ads on insta and videos on tiktok about ozempic and other semaglutides but I had never heard of mounjaro. It wasn't until I was at a dinner with a girlfriend where I brought up this new method and she opened up. Turns out she was on mounjaro for about 3 months and had lost about 15 pounds. She gave me her methods and I ended up researching over the next couple weeks.
I found this reddit (thank you all for being vulnerable and sharing your experiences!) And I read up online from the mounjaro site and other publications.
After deciding I would like to pursue this route, seeing it could help with some of my binge habits and assist me with my weightloss journey, I opened up to my partner about it. I shared the info I found and asked if he would support me through it. He of course said yes.
I used Pushhealth to find a prescriber as I knew for a fact my primary would not be supportive. A nurse practitioner was assigned to me and within a couple of Business days, I got my rx Sent to the pharmacy.
I had it sent to a compounding pharm (i got the pends/brand mounjaro not a generic or compounded version.) as it is what my friend recommended. They did not have the 2.5 in stock and they were unsure when they would get it so I called to different pharmacies and had it sent to Walmart. When I went to pick it up, I knew it would be EXPENSIVE ($1K). But I was excited and got it at that price.
I took my first dose on a Sunday evening after eating and a couple of hours before bed. I wanted to avoid nausea symptoms i had been reading about. The injection did burn at the site but went away after a couple of seconds, and this has happened each time I've injected. I have preferred my thighs.
I haven't had any negative symptoms (thankfully). My appetite has reduced quite a bit but I haven't skipped a meal, they've just been smaller than normal as I do get full much quicker.
The only symptom I did feel was the morning after doing a stomach site injection, I had nausea. Not sure if there was a correlation. It was also the 3rd injection.
I've worked out or taken long walks about 3-4 times a week with little problem. And the crossfit workouts can be a doozy. I have also had drinks during the weekend with no issue, I've just had less to drink than I Normally would.
I saw a couple of pounds lost within the first week. And as of today, may 25th, I have lost 6 pounds after 4 doses. I am ecstatic. I feel good and don't feel like I've limited myself.
So about the next dose:
I reached out to my prescriber for the next month supply and she sent it again to the compounding pharmacy (although this is the place i filled, i did not get a generic or compiund version, i am using the pens/mounjaro brand). Surprise though: ITS $125 for the month!!!!! Yes, no insurance, no coupon, and it was shipped to my door. I was floored in the best way.
I am nervous that the higher dose will mean more symptoms, but I feel prepared.
I have blood work scheduled the week of the last dose just in case as well.

Recently started on the MJ journey. On the 2.5mg dose and got that prescribed through Push for a 1 month regimen and filled at Walmart Pharmacy on 05/14. I requested a new prescription yesterday, but Walmart says i cannot get that filled till 06/05.
Is it allowed to keep my Walmart prescription for 05/06 but get another one from Push and fill it at CVS/Walgreens, essentially filling 2 prescriptions at two different locations in less than 2 weeks time?
Also i am using the Savings card, so can i use the savings card for the 2 concurrent prescriptions?

hi all. i need another job to help with tuition because the hours cut at walgreens isn’t doing enough for me. so is there any possibility i can get fired for working at another pharmacy like jewel osco or walmart? i know working at CVS is a conflict of interest, so i just wanna know if that applies to some or all pharmacies. I think I had made a couple posts or so in regards to having difficulty with transferring to another Walmart (under my former Reddit username capt-god-usopp) due to staffing issues. But this time around was better as I finally got the ball rolling in possibly getting a transfer. All it took was sending transfer requests to several locations and emailing the pharmacy managers, then seeing who would respond first. Apparently it worked as I got a response and with my pharmacy manager giving the green light after he talked to the other pharmacy manager of the store I would be going to, it could very well be likely a transfer would happen.
And the location would be much better and not as much commuting as I currently drive 25 miles to and back from my current Walmart location, or about 35-40 minutes which also has me going through tollways. The new one I’d be relocating to would only be about 10-15 minutes from my house which would be easier on me, and no tollways. Sorry about all this but I’m quite happy that this transfer process is finally happening.
