Each will be done in a different way/style that feels right for it. This is the first one of my first car and I'd love to get some feedback :-)
I remember my mother’s 1977 BMW 320i was the only constant fixture in my periphery for the first seventeen years of my life. For a sizeable portion of my youth, I loved and obsessively ruminated on BMWs. They were a cherished gift to me from the world and best suited for my Aspergian sensibilities (clinically diagnosed). From memory, I could recite every model, feature and accessory for all of the 1980-1996 model lineup. Despite this, I specifically did not love our BMW. The entire time, it remained to me an unfortunate afterthought of a car. “Why don’t we ever have a good BMW?” was one of my usual, elementary school gripes. We got close at least one time with the near-purchase of that European-spec, e23 745i, but it just never happened.

Greetings to all of you from the Rio Discord Server,
I would like to discuss something which has been consuming my mind over the past few weeks. The decision on whether or not I should discuss what happened to me on Discord. Well, it took a lot of thinking, but here I finally am with my statement. Maybe it’s too late for you all to care, but at least I've made it at all.
A few weeks ago, I made the difficult decision to depart from the Rio Movie Discord Server without providing ample notice to the community, except a simple message, “Beatle on, Reaganists”. Since this was shortly after me reaching level 30, and it seeming like I was going to be a main member of the community, I would like to offer my sincerest apologies.
I understand that my sudden departure may have caused confusion and inconvenience for those who interacted with me on the server, and I regret any disruption this may have caused in the community. However, I would like to assure you all that my decision to leave the server was in no way a reflection of my feelings towards the Rio films. I still hold them in high regard and will continue to enjoy them for years to come. I still rank Rio 1 among my top 10 favourite films, by the way!
It also had nothing to do with my troubling Conservative political statements in the face of the Nilloc/Nilly jokes, where I got a strike from the admins. This barely had a factor in my initial decision for leaving the server, but maybe it was for the best.
As Ronald Reagan once said, "there are no constraints on the human mind, no walls around the human spirit, no barriers to our progress except those we ourselves erect." And so, I urge you all to continue to explore and engage with the world of Rio, to connect with fellow fans, and to share your love for these films. Don’t let my departure stop you.
I have to admit that for the longest time I barely cared for these movies. I had no memories of going to the cinemas to watch the films, and any memories I did have of the films were either from the film playing in tv stores or Angry Birds Rio. But in the aftermath of Blue Sky’s closure, and a nostalgic look back to films of the early 2010’s, I realised that I had missed out on quite a bit on Rio. The animation was amazing, and I find that the animation on the birds was a lot better than anything we’d seen prior. The music was not nearly as cringey as I thought it was going to be (and this is coming from a fan of 70’s rock), with songs like Hot Wings constantly playing over and over again in my mind. The setting of Brazil was unique, and this alongside their F1 drivers like Ayrton Senna made my respect for the country somewhat increase despite all the crime and the poor handling of the 2016 Olympics reverting this. And the characters were all so interesting!
Then around January, while looking for Rio scenes on YT, I came across Nilloc’s channel, where he said that there was a Discord server for fans of the movie. Fans? For a duology from a dead Disney owned studio? No way that’s even real (in Rio)! But there you all were, real (in Rio) as day!
I would like to thank the Rio Movie Discord Server community for the wonderful experiences and conversations we shared during my time on the server from January until earlier this month. I am grateful for the memories and acquaintanceships that were forged during that time. The memes that were shared. The Reaganposting, the Nico bowling, the Jewel simping, etc.
“The Jewel Simping?” You say. “Were you actually a Jewel Simp?” Well it was a joke gone too far, a joke gone so far in fact that as I delved deeper into this rabbit hole of the fandom, my behaviour started becoming closer to an actual Jewel simp (like for example, Jimis). I don’t think the Jewel Simp chatbot helped with this either. I eventually came to my senses and realised that if I were to simp for a damn bird, I could do a lot better than flipping Jewel.
As for if I will still make the multi-part Rio retrospective on my channel u/UltraFormula1? Well I don’t know yet. My channel has been lying dormant since the 1st part of my Magical Mystery Tour video, and the 2nd part I have no desire to make. This is what I was fearing, me losing the motivation to make videos. But when the day finally comes for me to talk about Rio, I will do it in an honourable way, but I will probably not make it into the extensive miniseries like I originally planned.
So how else could I be involved in the fandom? Well really, there aren’t that many ways. I am not that good or patient at art, and I have distanced myself from character.ai, the site which I perhaps contributed the most to the fandom. Still, I will do what I must.
In closing, I wish you all luck throughout the rest of 2023, even though I won’t be there to see it through, and I hope that someway, somehow, this film will return into the consciousness of the general public. Maybe I’ll be back when that time comes, ready to contribute to the community in a more worthwhile way, but if that doesn’t happen I hope I’ll be remembered somehow. The Reaganist, the original Blu and Jewel chatbot creator. The one that tried to make the chat active during quiet hours. But most importantly, a fan of the 2011 animated movie that united us all together in the first place.
But before I go I have one last request to make. I wish that Hot Wings was available for me and many others on Spotify. We’ve already had a recent victory with the song ‘Fly Love’ becoming streamable again, but why stop there when we could relist the other 2 songs? I propose you all start some sort of petition to re-add the songs to Spotify for all to hear.

Lounging on the couch and, ideally, scrolling through social media isn’t really what I had in mind when I decided to take this vacation. After a few more minutes of procrastination, I decided to make the final checks on my gear and camping equipment for the trip. Standing up and stretching, I make my way towards the kitchen in my humble abode. Crouching near the pile, I make sure everything I need is not only included but also packed away neatly and tightly.
Nearby, the TV is broadcasting the local news. Nothing of interest other than clear skies for the week and some interviews with a dietitian regarding some new health craze that's been blowing up on the internet. However, as I’m tightening straps and zipping bags up, my attention is grabbed as I hear the mention of answers regarding NASA and over a certain subject.
A middle-aged brunette for the local news station seems to be asking some rather important questions to what seems to be some scientists representing the company. I decided that my checking of the bags has been fulfilled as I stand up and turn my attention to the television.
"And what can you tell us regarding the rumors about the supposed delays regarding the Artemis 2 launch?" The news anchor almost had a sort of hunger in her eyes as she asked the question, and the representative cleared his throat.
"With such a large gap between the last crewed missions conducted by NASA, and as unfortunate as it is, the delays are confirmed, but we want to make sure everything is in 100 percent working order. And-"
The television is drowned out as my phone begins to ring, and quickly I grab it off of the table to see my friend that will be accompanying me on the trip. I quickly picked up to answer.
"What's up shitbag?" A giggle nearly escapes my lips.
"Oh, go fuck yourself dude. Do you have everything packed for the trip? It's been forever since we’ve gotten a chance to actually hang out. Plus, I thought you could use a bit of a getaway from the city since you’re always cooped up in that warehouse."
I glance over at the pile of assorted packs, gear, and a case or two. Mulling it over, there's a chance I might have overpacked. However, if what I was told about the trip is true, it’ll truly be in the middle of nowhere, so being overprepared isn’t a bad idea, plus we can get some good rucking in.
"Yeah, I should be good; if we’re still cool with it, I’m going to bring my kit. I’d like to get some drills in. Then we can fuck around with our NODs, yeah?" Immediately, my friend launches into a tirade of all the things we’ll be doing since we’ll be there for a week, then the conversation halts.
I can already tell where this is going just based on how his tone is. I let out a sigh as he starts to ask. "Hey Mike, you're going to be good. Ya know, with the insulin pump and all that? Or if your blood sugar goes low, should I get a bunch of sugar in case you need it?"
I chuckled, "Jake!" I’ll be fine. I’ve had this since I was a kid and made sure extra of everything was packed. Just make sure you bring your fancy cooler, and it should be okay." I absentmindedly grab my insulin pump to check my stats, and my CGM advises me that I’m perfectly in range and everything else is in normal operation.
That seems to have done the trick. He has a tendency to worry about my diabetes. I should be glad though since he seems to understand it for the most part. As the conversation gets back on topic, we eventually agree to make our way to the property in separate vehicles since we’re both bringing a decent set of supplies with us. Eventually exchanging pleasantries and ending the phone call, my attention is again drawn to the television, the portion regarding the Artimus launch still poking at the back of my mind; a small sense of disappointment with a flavor of understanding stagnates with it.
It's understandable that they’d need to delay it; something as important as sending people back to the moon takes a lot of calculations. But man, to live through a new era of space exploration Memories of myself in my younger years begin playback in my own theater, which is my mind. I was always amazed and interested in the study of space, planets, and how the universe worked. The utter excitement I experienced when I got a telescope for my tenth birthday was so intense that I was almost vibrating. I couldn’t wait to look at the moon, and when I did, I knew I couldn’t stop the track that I was on.
I quickly snap back to the present, looking at my watch and cursing to myself as I begin the long track to load all the equipment up. Jake was right. I need some sort of distraction from my life. As well as things were going for me, I needed to disconnect and open up to the outdoors. Maybe we’ll spot some meteors while we’re out. But for now, I need to load the car up.

I also don't use reddit at all so formatting might be a bit off, it's also been literal years since I last sat down to write something out. Hey, I just need some quick advice on what I should do. So I was working at a bar and I went outside just to chill and a small group of girls came to talk to me out of the blue. Which is odd because I don’t consider myself exactly attractive I’m overweight and 6’3. But they introduced themselves to me and we had some good banter. I really impressed them by correctly guessing you their age and their occupation one girl in particular seemed interested in me asking me if I had a girlfriend and what my favorite color was which I said was green which so happens to be the color of her eyes. She explained that she works a lot and she’s in nursing school. She asked for my snap and made it a point that she wanted me to add her back. She seemed to be flirting with me even making sure she said goodbye before she left. Like an hour after she left I added her back and sent her a message saying I enjoyed talking to her. The next day I sent her. A picture of me that said “remember me?” A few hours later she replied yes of course with a bunch of exclamation marks. I then explained that I thought she was great and I wanted to see if she wanted to hang. She enthusiastically agreed. I sent her a response saying “great tell me when your free and I’ll set something up. She never opened the text it’s been over 24 hours. I’m freaking out, I don’t know if I should text her again or if I should expect a response, should I move on? I keep thinking I read the signs wrong or am I just being paranoid?

My partner only lives 4 hours away from me but he's on 24/7 hour call for work and he does uni 2 times a week so he can't visit me much.
We both still live at home and I don't drive, he does.
I work 5 days a week so I can only visit him on Saturdays since I have to catch a 3-5hour train.
This is my first long distance relationship and I'm finding it difficult because everytime he leaves I feel like someone is using my heart as a punching bag.
Any advice?????

I am always trying to be more efficient and find ways that can help me get better at doing tasks that are necessary so that I get time and freedom to do things that I like.
"Discipline equals freedom" as postulated by Jocko Willink has stayed with me for a long time and I try to apply it in different aspects of life.
I have different part of days sorted but always found myself wasting time when I woke up. I used to take my mobile and just kept going over some random social media. The time I used to waste glossing over social media was not that long but it left kind of a bad taste in my mouth.
So I tried a few simple things:
I never sleep with the mobile on my bed. I make sure to get up and brush my teeth before doing anything. I do not touch my mobile for atleast 1 hour after waking up.
In 21 days I felt I lost the urge to even check. I feel more positive throughout the day and I save a lot of time as well.
Just wake up and get out of bed. One small step goes a long way.

Literally messaging me and cheating at the same time lol. If he couldn't control it while I was around all the time, then I don't even have to question if he's still doing it or not since now I am 10 hours away.
I keep going back and forth in my head on why I love him and he's my best friend, then back to remembering why I left 3 months ago, and how he has proven this is how my life will go. Cheated on daily, hit, screamed at, having my life threatened at times, unloved, manipulated, lied to, and quite frankly, COMPLETELY unsatisfied. Dudes never even tried to make me cum, and literally never has LMFAO.
I have sacrificed so much to be with him and prove my love for him. I have sacrificed my time, mental health, peace, happiness, money, and even my hygiene the times I had to live in the car for months straight. Long story short , I am an medical student outside US , I went into some bad depression in my first med 1 and my current med 2 year (Live in lebanon so financial problems that could have made me leave plus family member got mentaly ill for 50 days and went to hospital which was a horrific experience, also lived far away from family etc...) .
So these past years I've been doing pretty much below average. I never failed a module, but I passed pretty near the bar.
I've got very good connections with doctors in the US , someone to help sponsor my visa , and my university has a decent rate of matching (had 90% this year, although we are a small class (65) and only half of the class applies).
So the American doctor who is telling that he'll help with everything regarding finding mentors and all told me no one will look alot on your preclinical grades but as an IMG you must aim for 85-90th percentile to apply to a nice speciality on the step 2 since step 1 is now P/F, and get decent med 3 and med 4 grades.
Now the problem is, I am always afraid and doubt is controlling my mind that " Is it possible that I pull myself from this 2 year ditch and do so well on the step2 which I aim to take in about a year and a half or so ?"
Regarding how disciplined I am , I am super disciplined (if you take the overwhelming anxiety and previous depression out of the equation) . I can study for very long hours , start at 5 am studying before going to class / hospital and study after coming home well. I can maintain a very good study life balance .
Any words of encouragement , stories of hope, anything that can help me reduce these doubts that I can't do it in my mind? I will be very grateful.

- Removing Rarities from Items and add-ons (brown would be basic) giving players iridescent shards as compensation
- Removing Perk Tiers compensating those who have spent countless of hours grinding all perk tiers for
a certain SurvivoKiller with iridescent shards and auric cells :
This rewards OG players who have their inventory full of Tier 3 Perks on multiple characters
- Spend your Bloodpoints immediately on any given SurvivoKiller without the need of manually
doing so each by just having to press one button [Buy Bloodweb Lvl X for Dwight Fairfield] [X=shows how far you can level up your character depending on how many bloodpoints you currently have]
To compensate for the on going DDoS attacks we give out 500 auric cells to the player base as an apology we are working on the issue
- Adding Search Bar for PC and Console Players to find Perks more easily without having the need to go
through each page
- Adding statistics of the game in the end game screen for each individual Survivor and Killer
General Killer Changes:
- Killers can get stunned by a flashlight again from a successfully timed "locker save" with
the addition of "entity particles" in front of the killers eyes indicating that the Killer won't be able
to get blinded by a flashlight again for the next 15 seconds.
Reason:
People loved to locker save their teammates and it always felt really rewarding if done and timed correctly but to eliminate any potential of abusing this mechanic, instead of removing it entirely we added a visual "cooldown" to this interaction.

- Reworking Bloodlust:
Reason for this change:
Bloodlust has always been quite controversial and since loops have become shorter and infinites are no longer a big issue anymore we would like to remove Bloodlust Tier III and nerf Tier II and I
The Hillbilly
- We reversed the recent add-on changes on the PTB for Hillbilly and removed the overheating mechanic entirely
The Nurse
- We realized that the Nurse is overperforming so we decided to shorten her teleportation range to 16m base (was 20m) this should combat nurse being extremely oppressive when in good hands
- We Removed Nurse ability to hit before appearing on the screen so the survivor has more time to react to the initial blink.
The Clown
- The Pinky Finger add-on now requires the clown to hit the survivor twice with a bottle in order to down them immediately without needing to M1 however if the survivor dodges one bottle the add-on gets reset and the survivor won't be downed
The Blight
- The Alchemist Ring now longer instantly recharges all rush tokens instead it recharges half of them
- In addition to Compound Thirty Three's effect it will now cause the blight to slowly regain tokens instead of regaining tokens normally
The Spirit
- Mother Daugther Ring Increases Movement Speed during Phase by +20% (instead of 40%)
Survivor Changes
- Bringing back the Fall Window Vaults with new animation
- Healing OTHERS will take 16 seconds as it used to be Self healing will take 20 seconds instead of 24 seconds
- If the Killer has no Collision at any point for some reason basically meaning to run through the killer will now give an animation to look more clean (while walking through the killer at any time, the collision is gone, the entity will make black particles appear around the area where the survivor enters through the killer hard to explain easier to show).

I'm sorry this is going to be long, there's a lot I feel needs to be explained for the question. I have a summary at the very bottom. I'm 24F in 6 days.
I've had severe abdominal pain for almost 2 years now. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS (I knew I've had it for years because I have a history of cysts and high T but was not officially diagnosed until last month due previous gyno issues.) I was also diagnosed with Endometriosis even tho my new gyno hasn't found proof of it. She believes I have it due to my past menstrual cycles and my previous medical issues involving them. Along with how severe my current pain is.
Late July 2021 I had to quit working because pain I've had since the age of 8 (felt like constant low period cramps) became so severe I could no longer work or lift anything over 30 pounds without breaking down. (It took about a week to go from tolerable to not.) I did have Federal Disability for a few months after I had to leave my job but it ran out. It's been a year since then. We originally thought it'd be fixed before it ran out. And I don't think I'm able to reapply for federal again.
I'm still unable to work. I have tried a couple more times to work again but was unable to get past the first day both times. (I was depressed from not being able to work and was hoping I'd be able to somehow power through it. This was only 2 days in the last 2 years.)
My pain has progressed to the point I can no long get out of bed without sharp stabbing pains and can only last a couple hours on a good day. I have to have help with simple tasks like chores, showering, grocery shopping, driving anywhere and even making food. I can barely stand for more than an hour and a half and need to sit or lay on the floochair. I need a walker when I leave the house for groceries. I can't sleep for more than 2-4 hours at a time because I'll wake up from the pain. I'm also unable to take pain medicine (even Tylenol) because I'm prone to ulcers.
I've looked at the SSDI approved disabilities and didn't see PCOS or endometriosis on it.
If I have all my medical records from when my health started to decreased along with a note from my primary physician, would I qualify for SSDI? Should we put it's the PCOS and endometriosis causing the pain or just severe lower abdominal pain?
I've been on multiple hormones, medicines, and done various tests (colonoscopy, endoscopy, laprascopy, x-ray, external/internal ultrasounds, CT scans with and without dye, and blood tests) since this started and they haven't been able to pinpoint an exact cause. Or help it in any way. It just slowly gets worse.
My doctor's don't see it being fixed for at least another year due to not finding anything in the area of the pain besides PCOS. I'm being referred to a specialty place but it can take up to a year to even get an appointment. I'm running out of options and don't really know what to do at this point. If I should try for SSDI, or reapply for SDI.
SUMMARY: Will SSDI approve me for PCOS and Endometriosis with a doctor's note if I've had severe pain for nearly 2 years? Or am I able to apply for SDI again for the same issue if it's been a year since?

Eg.
Case in point: the step for the instructions I quoted above; attached the flexible driver boards and foam membrane to the driver back and inner ring. This involves exerting continuous pressure on the driver while you tighten the 6 screws to hold it together, without releasing the pressure or lifting the driver off your work surface until you’re done. Doable, but the hand pressing down on the driver inevitably obstructs about half the screws.
A gentle PSA for the folks asking “why can’t I buy only the electronics”: This is one of the most intricate 3d-printed projects I’ve seen; a large number of small parts with tight tolerances, for which the physical properties (eg. flexibility, resonance, friction etc) turn out to be pretty important. I’ve printed the top and bottom case for a Ploopy Classic, a Ploopy Nano, an entire set of working keycaps, and some other simple functional parts of my own design, but I think the headphones are in a different league. You’re probably braver than me, and I do intend to try re-printing some of the visible parts myself at some point, but I found myself very glad to be starting with some known-good parts. YMMV.
There were some minor issues, none of which turned out to be show-stoppers:
That said, the amplifier still feels like a little bit of an Achilles heel, for now. The very obvious distortion that I was experiencing at first has mostly been resolved after the firmware update, but there’s still the odd moment where I’m not sure if I’m hearing distortion from the amp, or detail from the song; I love headphones, but I’m not a reviewer or an audiophile. Hoping that future firmware updates will continue to improve things.

Build notes
The instructions are good and detailed. They do a good job of imparting an appropriate amount of caution for the steps where the potential exists to get things badly wrong, at the cost of being a little anxiety-inducing.Eg.
“You will have to complete this entire step, without stopping, without screwing up, rather quickly. So, before you get started, take a deep breath and focus.”Difficulty-wise, I found it a little challenging, but surmountable. I’m a programmer, but very much a novice when it comes to hardware. I can do basic soldering, but not much more than that. The soldering is not the challenging part of this build; the challenges lie more with some of the steps that require attention to detail, dexterity, and in some cases, can’t readily be repeated if you get them wrong.

- The adhesive-backed felt strips included with the kit are not cooperative. I tore the first one off its adhesive while trying to peel it from the backing paper, but managed to fix it.
- Pay very close attention to the magnet orientation, just like the instructions say. Both my drivers were working, but the left one was noticeably quieter and had worse low and mid-range frequency response. Removing the driver cap and carefully re-inserting the magnets seems to have fixed it, so I’m assuming one of my magnets might have been oriented incorrectly.
- I experienced some pretty bad audio issues (recurring crackling, distortion, etc) on my MacBook. Didn’t happen on my desktop PC or when plugging the phones directly into my phone for testing, so I’m assuming Apple are partly to blame. Updating the Ploopy DAC firmware seems to have mostly fixed it; there’s still a moment of distorted audio when playback first starts, but it doesn’t seem to come back as long as the audio keeps playing.
So do they sound good?
Yeah, they really do, with some minor caveats. They sound clear, clean, and detailed. The soundstage feels reasonably wide and spacious. The bass isn’t at all excessive, but they have better low-end chops than I expected; you can really feel these thrumming on your ears when you play something bass-y. I haven’t been able to stop listening to them since I resolved that issue with the left driver an hour or two ago. I’ve just listened to the entirety of Lana Del Rey’s latest album, without stopping; I don’t even like Lana Del Rey.That said, the amplifier still feels like a little bit of an Achilles heel, for now.
