2023.06.01 04:24 TheFanatic2997 Solving Fnaf 4(no,really!)

So we all t]know the confusing game that is Fnaf 4, Right? and how it is probably associated with Midnight Moderist? Well I have a theory that I think cracks the case of Fnaf 4 AND Midnight Moderist. I haven't seen this theory anywhere else, so this will be the only instance to the best of my knowledge.

Midnight Moderist
So in Midnight Moderist you play as "Mustard Man" driving in a suspiciously purple car in the rain. he gets home and talks to an unknown person that is not only wearing gray, and speaks in gray as well. they tell you to leave "Him" alone. you never the less knock on his door, demanding to be let in. when that doesn't work, you go around to the back of the house to find a broken window, human footprints leading away from the site, and animal footprints standing just outside. You say "Ran off to that place again. He'll be sorry when he gets Back." and the screen cuts to black.

The Characters
so we can already label "Mustard Man" as William Afton. He drives a purple car, the minigame is labeled in the files as "Later that night" and it is raining, just like the Security Puppet minigame, which shows Charlie Emily's death. with that out of the way, let's talk about about the gray person. this person is most definitely Michael, or "Foxy Bro" watching the TV, just like Michael does at the end of each night in Sister Location. he is also wearing a gray shirt, like Foxy Bro is in Fnaf 4, and he speaks in gray, like Foxy Bro. Now if he is Michael/Foxy Bro, then the "He" he mentions is most likely the Crying Child(CC).

So, What Happened?
Well, William is shown in the Minigame driving home after his first murder, and when he gets home, CC has run away to "That Place" most likely Fredbear's Family Diner since that was where William just was. If CC went to Fredbear's, then wouldn't he be there when his father murdered Charlie? and when The Puppet went outside after Charlie? what if CC saw Charlie outside in the rain, and saw The Puppet go outside too. He would then go out as well, and what would he find? an animatronic laying on top of a child's corpse. It all makes sense now. CC saw The Puppet on top of Charlie and believed that The Puppet killed her. "what is seen in the shadows is easily misunderstood in the mind of a child." now that explains CC's fear of animatronics, and what the Fredbear plush meant when he said "You know what will happen if he catches you." Michael, now aware of his brother's new found fear, would begin to bully him about his fear. Why? Well in Security Breach's CD's one of the backstories provided was that Vanessa's father, Bill, forced her to lie about her mother in court to win the custody battle. in the aftermath, it is implied her mother K*lled herself. this story turns out to be a complete fabrication. but look at Bill's name. it is short for William. this story is not Vanessa's but of the Afton kids. in the aftermath of this traumatic divorce, Michael would express his sadness by torturing his younger brother using animatronic masks. this is backed up in the story "Step Closer" where the protagonist, Pete, shares striking similarities to Michael. In this story, it is said Pete bullied his younger brother to express his sadness over his parent's divorce.

So What is Fnaf 4?
This is where the fun begins. So before we talk about Fnaf 4, I should mention the dirt mound and the animal footprints. In the Twisted Ones, the Twisted animatronics seem to be the counterparts to the Nightmare animatronics. For that reason, I think it is safe to assume that the dirt mound is where at least one of the animatronics bury themselves during the day, like in the Twisted Ones novel, and the animal footprints are from one of the Nightmare animatronics. They would be stalking the house, like seen in the menu screen of Fnaf 4. So, to lead our way to Fnaf 4, I would like to turn your attention to William's line of "He'll be sorry when he gets back." since his kid not only snuck out of the house, but went to Fredbear's on a night he killed someone. as punishment, William locked CC in one of his "Observatory" rooms seen in Sister Location, and would send the Nightmare Animatronics after him. since the Nightmare animatronics are counterparts to the Twisted Ones, then it is not far-fetched to assume they are just bare endoskeletons with a sound-illusion disc on, people see terrifying versions of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Fredbear.(note that I am going with the idea that Nightmare is Nightmare Fredbear with a malfunctioning illusion disc, like MatPat pointed out) William also put a camera and Walkie-Talkie in CC's favorite toy, Fredbear. too keep an eye on him. in the bedroom we can also see easter-eggs showing a vase of flowers, pills, and an IV. these might be caused by the illusion discs, forcing CC to see reference's to his mother on her deathbed. Nights 1-5 go along with the end of night minigames, leading up to CC's birthday party at his now-least-favorite place, Fredbear's Family Diner. It is on that day, though, that Michael and his friends will take things too far. They pick-up CC, carry him over to Fredbear, and stuff his head inside. They all have a good laugh at CC's expense, when Fredbear's jaw slams shut, hospitalizing CC in the Bite of '83. we also see in the night 6 end-of-night minigame CC pass on, while Michael apologizes and William tells CC"I will put you back together" before it is implies CC passes away. Michael's story continues in The Survival Logbook, where he draws an image of Nightmare Fredbear or Nightmare. how would he know these animatronics exist? Nights 6-8 are when you play as Michael, trapped in the same room CC was in as punishment handed out by William for killing his brother. The box, therefore, could refer to Michael's repressed memories of the incident which killed his brother.

Tying It All together
The story of Fnaf 4, I believe, is this: William has just taken a life. he drives back home in the dead of night, and checks on his youngest son, CC, for having his door closed. He goes around the back to find CC has broken out of his room, along with evidence of his Nightmare Animatronics on the prowl. William realizes CC ran off the Fredbear's Family Diner, where he had just killed a child. turns out, CC saw the girl in the ally, and The Puppet go outside with her. after following them, he finds a grizzly scene: The Puppet on-top of the freshly murdered corpse of the girl, Charlie. CC sees that the animatronics are actually bloodthirsty murderers who kill kids. he runs back home. the next day, his Fredbear Plush begins talking to him. William then places CC in his Observatory room, where he uses the Nightmare animatronics to punish his son for disobeying him. CC's older brother, Michael, also begins to torture him, using his new-found fear against him. It seems the whole world was against him. but tragedy would strike on his birthday at Fredbear's, where Michael and his friend's all pick-up CC, and shove him into Fredbear's mouth as a sick prank. it would be then that CC would be put into a coma in the event that would come to be known as "The Bite of '83". in the hospital, Michael would apologize for what he did, while William promises to put CC back together. CC then dies in the hospital. as punishment for killing his son, William would put Michael into the Observatory where CC once was, where he would be tortured by the Nightmare animatronics, events that would continue to haunt him for decades after that.

I think I solved one gutting FNaF 4 issue. (I'm sorry, but I'm a MikeNone, so.. not really solved in many people's eyes.)
Hello,
I've made many strange theories in the past if you had seen my theory posts. They're all really complicated and I understand people who had disagreed on those.
But I'm going to be extremely serious about this one! I hope I can get major people to agree on what I'm about to discuss. I warn again, I believe in the MikeNone theory, so what I'll say is going to relate to that exact universe, so I might as well already accept not being taken too serious.
Okay, let's start with the topic.
The FNaF 4 Aftons' house corridor.
So, as you walk through this room, you can see a grandfather clock with Fredbear plush on top, as well as five pictures hanging on the wall.
Now, you'd all assume it's Mrs. Afton and William on the left, and on the right we have the three Afton children. Michael, CC and Elizabeth. But what if I told you that Elizabeth wasn't yet born during the time of FNaF 4?
I know, it sounds crazy, but MikeNone patches the hole of the question "who is in the third picture then?".
It's Michael (pale FoxyBro inside of the house), Evan (tanned FoxyBro inside the diner), and CC (Crying Child we play as in the minigames).
People have always argued over this specific room below.
Elizabeth Afton's room.
There was once a huge war over Elizabeth's existence during FNaF 4. If she was alive or dead.
At first, no presence of Elizabeth Afton inside of the minigames lead people to believe that Elizabeth is a deceased sister of some sorts. It seemed implied. Not only that, but in FNaF 5 it further proves people's point.
But there was another half of fans, and they believed that the empty room never implied that Elizabeth is gone. That she can be somewhere outside (some connecting her to Cindy (pigtails girl). Just because she's not in her room doesn't mean she's right away dead.
Both sides had a point.
Ones had the backup arguments that CC saw something happen that made him so scared of the animatronics. He saw her death and so he's scared. That the reason he's constantly crying is because his sister died recently and now he's grieving - quite literally crying all of the time.
The other part of the community had the arguments that Circus Baby's claw mechanism couldn't have existed so early in the timeline. And that it seems to be implied that Fredbear's Family Diner was the first ever restaurant before all the evolutions of Freddy's.
Both sides had a point once more.
But the war could not settle, and it hasn't settled till today as Scott has not confirmed anything till now, sadly.
But there is another explanation to why she's not present.
No one has ever thought of the fact that she could be not in her FNaF 4 bedroom since she wasn't given birth to yet? There was a room prepared for when she arrives. It all then makes sense.
Some people stupidly imagine that Elizabeth saw CC die on his birthday from the prank, but it makes no sense due the fact she doesn't fear wanting to go near Circus Baby and then her eventually going. She showed how desperate she was, she could not have seen her brother die from an animatronic if she's eager to disobey her father with no hesitation.
A pretty reasonable argument of why the bedroom is empty and the sister is not present anywhere is because she's not born yet and that also fixes the issue of CC being the middle or youngest cause he's technically both in that situation.
Her not being alive until late 1983 also fixes the theory of Elizabeth dying some time after FNaF 2, between 1988/89 and 1993 since she'd be a perfect age at that time (since it'd take time for William to make those animatronics).
AND in the trilogy Elizabeth is mentioned to be the only child in the Afton Family (or that's what I heard), so if we were to exclude Michael and Evan (as they'd not be children but instead young adults by the time the Funtimes are in progress), and CC is dead, Elizabeth is the only kid of William.
Anyway, that's all I have to present. If you have any questions or debunks on some points, I'll try to reply and answer those curiosities / debates.
Thanks for reading, whoever even did.

2023.05.29 18:34 EpicMazement Why the FNAF 3 Happiest Day minigames, FNAF World, and the Logbook are most likely telling the exact same story

This is all the evidence for why Why the FNAF 3 Happiest Day minigames, FNAF World, and the Logbook all represent Charlotte having Cassidy help Garrett remember within FredbeaGolden Freddy.

  1. Fredbear Plush/Charlotte tells Adventure Freddy to leave bread crumbs for him. In the Logbook, Cassidy asks Garrett several things regarding his past, like she is leaving bread crumbs for him.
  2. Cassidy in the OMC minigame looks exactly like Adventure Freddy when he is in the OMC forest, implying Cassidy and Adventure Freddy are connected.
  3. They most likley don't literally talk in the Logbook, since their is no room in the timeline and the would have no reason to. And due to the basic rules of Agony, a lot of Garrett's essence would naturally possess Fredbear.
  4. Each of the FNAF 3 Minigames we play for Happiest Day connect to Garrett's past in the FNAF 4 minigames. Toy Chica = the Chica toy missing it;s beak, which Scott implied meant something. Mangle = the broken Funtime Foxy toy. Balloon Boy = the kid with the balloon. Fredbear = ... well, Fredbear. Shadow Bonnie = the shadow of Springbonnie. The fact that we play these same minigames in FNAF World supports this.
  5. If FNAF World represents Cassidy helping Garrett remember while in Fredbear, then finding Old Man Consequences deep within the code of the game might be meant to represent Andrew being deep within Fredbear. OMC is always tied to Cassidy in some way, is in the color associated with anger, is seen as a UCN entity, and is named after consequences, and looks like a Gator. Andrew is shown to possess Fredbear, he mirrors Cassidy in many ways, is known for his anger, is behind Ultimate Custom Night, and for wanting Afton to suffer consequences, and wears a Gator mask.
  6. Many people say the FNAF World map looks like a brain, which makes sense if FNAF World represents helping Garrett with his memory loss.
  7. The Logbbook shows Marionette showing a cake to a Cassidy representation on a page talking about Happiest Day. While many say this implies that Cassidy is Happiest Day kid, the fact that the FNAF 3 HD minigames connect to Garrett ,the HD memory is clearly the Fredbear's where Garrett died, and the fact that Cassidy is still around even when Afton is most likely gone implies Garrett is HD kid. The picture of Cassidy, Marionette and the cake might have been meant to show they both play a role in setting up HD.

2023.05.28 02:41 EpicMazement Could Nightmare and the Mimic1 Program/Virus have eventually become one?

  1. The name of the Staff Bot Silo -which is implied to belong to the Mimic- is named Charliedoor.
  2. The lights above the Charliedoors match the colors of the Security Puppet bracelets.
  3. The Staff Bot Silo is filled with Nightmare Bot heads, who seem to still be functioning. If the Mimic1 Virus and the Endo became separate entities, this could be the Virus watching the Endo.
  4. The Staff Bot Silo has a sticky note with 7 people that says "friends", likely a reference to Charlotte and her friends, Susie, Jeremy, Gabriel, Fritz, Cassidy and Garrett.
  5. The backstory of the Mimic mirrors the story of Henry, Charlie and the Charliebots, while still being in the Gameline.
  6. The Mimic1 Amalgamation and the Blob -who are implied to be connected by PQ- have black tentacles, like Nightmare in the Stingers as Eleanor, and like Nightmarionne's tentacles in HW.
  7. The Blob has the mask of Nightmarionne, but with no tears, which would make sense if Mimic1 as Blob was meant to be like a dark Charlie, puppeteering everything in a similar fashion to how Marionette guided the animatronics.
  8. The Nightmare Bots seem to look the way they do because of Mimic1, which would make sense if Mimic1 were Nightmare.
  9. The Nightmare Bots have "In Your Dreams" written on their chests, which doesn't make much sense for Mimic1 or Vanny to do put on them otherwise.
  10. Characters in SD are given UCN lines. Nightmare is implied to have been in UCN with Andrew and Cassidy.
  11. Spring Mimic in the Pizza Place Ending has the claws of a Nightmare Animatronic, which are connected to Nightmare.
  12. We find the Nightmare Plushie in the Endo nursery, which both has references to FNAF 4 and UCN -both being games that have Nightmare in them. This same area hints at Mimic1's control over the Endos. When we collect this plush, the Glamrock Endo behind it activates. The plush is also in a Gold box, which is usually only given tot he gold plushies, hinting at it's importance, along with the fact that he is one of the only none-SB character plush you ca collect, along with Bonnie, Foxy and Baby, some of the biggest names in FNAF.
  13. In an arcade, we see some black cables with white stripes, possibly hinting at Nightmare being within the walls of the Pizzaplex.
  14. When we get too close to Agony when we collect Remnant in SD using the app infected by Mimic1, we get attacked by RXQ, who FF implies is Nightmare in another form.
  15. Frailty seems to hint at Nightmare being a part of the story.
  16. In SB FR, we see what might be Eleanor in Vanny's lair, like how Vanny had the Mimic Endo in the recharge station in the Pizza Place, where she has clearly made into her lair for a while, and the boss after Vanny is Dreamgeist, a huge FNAF 4 reference. FNAF 4 is a game where we see Nightmare messing with Michael's nightmares. This could be mean tto hint at Nightmare pulling the strings.
  17. The website for SB - Ruin shows a purple Steelwool logo with a green reflection. Green is associated with Charlotte. When you point your arrow to the green one, it says "shadows within shadows". This could represent Nightmare, a Shadow entity, possessing mimic1, who is like a shadow of Afton.
  18. Characters liek the Nightmares being in the game also adds up more if Mimic1 is Nightmare.

2023.05.28 00:02 GemOfWonder The Crying Child From FNAF4 Possesses Balloon Boy

The Crying Child From FNAF4 Possesses Balloon Boy
OK, so I guess the one thing that I should probably make clear to begin with is that this is NOT a joke.
Just hear me out! That’s all I ask!
I know that a lot of things about this don’t seem to make sense at first, and I can explain everything. In this post, I will go over what the commonality between BB and the Crying Child is, how BB existed in 1983, how the crying child possessed BB to begin with, and what the purpose of the Crying Child possessing BB is.
Let’s start with this explanation:
BB has been misunderstood. Beyond superficial appearances, there is someone who is closer to the crying child than people give any credit for.
I think this is as good a start as any.
I think the first misunderstanding is BB’s emotional state. Like, I know a lot of people in the community make art or headcanons or jokes or stuff: that’s one thing, but, in debating the lore, as in discussing the actual canon, I have, I kid you not, seen other theorists write BB off based off of the expression carved into his face. Crying Child or not, the kid in BB in any case cannot be any happier than the others over this situation!
Some people don’t like that he laughs at us during gameplay, but can we really take his laugh at face value? He laughs when nobody is there. He says ā€œHiā€ and ā€œHelloā€ when nobody is around. If BB is trying to scream or cry, then what’s stopping THAT from just coming out as a laugh, too? Can we really just say BB is as carefree as he looks? No, we cannot.
There’s more to BB in FNAF2 than meets the eye. And, rest assured, I WILL dig into that later this post.
But before that, you might be wondering,
But before that, most of you probably have some other pressing questions that we ought to get out of the way first. ā€œDid BB actually exist in 1983?ā€ ā€œHow would the crying child possess BB, and why?ā€ ā€œWhat evidence is there that singles out BB as a better candidate for who the crying child possesses So let’s get on with that.
I have embedded a lot of links in this post, generally to provide an expanded explanation of whatever point I’m making at the time. So if you have a question for me, check and see if I have a link embedded in the relevant portion of this theory, and give the linked post a read! Thank you!

Did BB exist in 1983? Isn’t he a toy?

Well, let’s start this by explaining in two words:

Nightmare BB!

Nightmare BB is the only one of the Halloween animatronics to be canon, as singled out by Scott here:

https://preview.redd.it/ncrdbh434g2b1.png?width=311&format=png&auto=webp&s=009a287ea07a461ad13bbe5798728bacfc3d0ae3
This theory is going off the idea that the Crying Child was the one that had the Nightmares and thus had to have seen Nightmare Balloon Boy.
There’s a strong amount of evidence too: I’m fairly certain the main reason for believing that anyone besides the crying child had the Nightmares was the logbook, but I’ve found inconsistencies in it.
The Steam Page clearly says that we are playing as the crying child during the night segments,
Fredbear plush and the other plushies saying ā€œWe are still your friendsā€ makes a lot more sense if the crying child had just finished being tormented by Nightmarish versions of them,
The minigames with the child parallel the gameplay directly: Fredbear attacks the night before the child is bitten, and Foxy begins attacking the night after we first see FoxyBro’s jumpscare.
Finally, while Golden Freddy is not the crying child, the only way the Nightmares would have gotten into UCN is if the crying child told TOYSNHK about them and showed him what they look like.
Furthermore, Nightmare Fredbear’s UCN dialogue directly references the crying child. (Such as ā€œWe know who are friends are, and you are not one of them!ā€ and ā€œLet me put you back together…so I can tear you apart againā€. Nightmare Fredbear. The head of the Nightmares. Only references the crying child in his dialogue.
So in conclusion, the evidence that the crying child had the nightmares is quite strong, and the only thing that contradicts has inconsistencies of its own. There’s a good case to be made here.
And that means that, since Nightmare BB is canon, the crying child saw Nightmare BB at one point and thus Balloon Boy has to exist.
But, if you still don’t believe me, there’s more proof that Balloon Boy existed in 1983:

The Staffbot Table

The owner of the StaffBot table is none other than Charlie, based on the fact that the door to it is clearly named ā€œCharlie Doorā€ in the files.

https://preview.redd.it/s83pqs274g2b1.png?width=427&format=png&auto=webp&s=2bec498ffe47a19e70ad5cd5cce51ce22c407717
I think that from this, we can logically say that Charlie created the Staffbot table, selecting five staffbots to surround a poster of Fredbear’s.
Incidentally, these bots can all be linked to Fredbear's somehow:
The magician bot, with his nice hat and tie, relates to Fredbear.
The headless bot is the crying child himself, who was bitten by Fredbear.
The Circus Baby bot relates back to Circus Baby’s doppelganger, found outside of Fredbear’s.
And lastly, the nanny, the head of the table, would probably represent Charlie herself, the unofficial leader and protector of the missing children.
And finally, the server bot: a dead ringer for BB. All part of a circle surrounding a Fredbear’s poster. I, therefore, believe that this is a sign Balloon Boy was at Fredbear’s as well, nicely corroborating Nightmare BB’s canonicity.

Curse of Dreadbear

Also, while Curse of Dreadbear certainly has animatronics appearing outside of 1983, I would specifically like to bring your attention to the plushkins and their masks, which are of:Freddy, Chica, Foxy, and…Balloon Boy?You would expect this quartet to have Bonnie, to make a whole member of the OG four. If BB was made in 1987, this makes the masks all the more out of place. It’s a subtle sign that, like the Withereds, BB predates the toy’s existence.

What about SaveThem?

What about SAVETHEM? Why would BB’s possession backstory take place in a minigame he never appears in?

https://preview.redd.it/zqskhekg4g2b1.png?width=917&format=png&auto=webp&s=da511e0086458b05e221128a36051e3e12f84be1
There are other possibilities for the remaining child, Shadow Bonnie (who I do think is a spirit) or Endo-02, etc…because there’s just too much pointing to BBVictim for me.

Process of Elimination

But this is just the first step: You’ve seen how BB is an option, but I still need to show you that BB is the option.
So now that we’ve established BB exists in 1983, we can add him to the list of animatronics we know existed in 1983. This list goes like this:Fredbear
Spring Bonnie
The Puppet
BBFreddy
Bonnie
Chica
Foxy
Golden Freddy
And then we can do this:Fredbear
Spring Bonnie (William Afton)
The Puppet (Charlie Emily)
BBFreddy (MCI Kid)
Bonnie(MCI Kid)
Chica (MCI Kid)
Foxy(MCI Kid)
Golden Freddy(MCI Kid)
Looking at the two final choices, while it may be tempting to choose Fredbear, I ask: what would be the point? Where has Fredbear figured into the actual lore at any point after crushing the crying child’s head? Aside from UCN, we have never seen Fredbear ever again after this. If the crying child possessed Fredbear, that would be it for the protagonist of FNAF4.
But one of the hints Scott gave was ā€œFour Games, One Storyā€. So looking at the context of the franchise as a whole, especially in the context of the first four games, Fredbear doesn’t show up at all. Golden Freddy does, but he’s not Fredbear, and he’s already possessed. And even if you are of the ā€œGolden Freddy is Fredbearā€ camp, well, Golden Freddy is already possessed.
But if the crying child, whom FNAF4 centers on, plays a role in this one story of four games, then why would he be Fredbear? Fredbear only debuts in FNAF4, if the crying child possessed him then that would mean that while everything else is happening, he’s either been long-scrapped or is just rotting alone in an abandoned diner…yeah, I don’t think he’s Fredbear.
Also, the crying child FEARS Fredbear! He had to be dragged to Fredbear kicking and screaming. In what world would his ghost willingly be attached to Fredbear after death? But then we have BB. The crying child did have nightmares about BB too, (which is a key way to verify how to prove BB is in 1983) but there are some signs that the crying child’s fear of BB is much less severe:
  1. Nightmare BB’s jumpscare isn’t deadly.
  2. Nightmare BB can provide help to the player.
And the role BB plays in the franchise is actually pretty big, especially within the first four games: He helps with Happiest Day in FNAF3. His voice is a game mechanic, also in FNAF3. He is canon as a Nightmare in FNAF4. All these things and more I will touch on. BBVictim is more than possible: it works.

How did the Crying Child Possess BB?

Now, let’s answer some critical questions about how The Crying Child would possess BB and why.
There are some theories about HOW possession works, involving ā€œremnantā€, and about pain following flesh, but remember, the only book series Scott ever said we could use to solve the games was Fazbear’s Frights. For that reason, I will leave the books out of this reasoning. Does remnant exist in the games? Yes. Does it play any kind of role in any FNAF4?
Not really, as Remnant wasn’t mentioned at all in any of the games until FFPS.
Also, I may repeat this a lot, but remember, whatever is in FNAF1 - 4 we should be able to reason out without outside help. I’m gonna use evidence in later games, of course, but if the evidence is only found in books / later games, then we should be careful. Since this post is focused on solving FNAF4 and not after.
We know very little about how possession works in reality. Let me show you what we DO know for certain: and how it makes it entirely possible for CC to possess BB.
Focusing on 1 - 4,
We learn:A) The puppet can tether souls to others
  1. The puppet appears to be more powerful than the others regarding this ability (Give Gifts, Give Life is the only known example of someone tethering someone else’s soul to an object.
B) No contact possession is possible.
SO YES the crying child can die in the hospital and reach a Fazbear Establishment from there.
Quick Add: From what we see in FFPS, the sixth FNAF game, while remnant is clearly connected to possession, it doesn’t really add any rules: we don’t know where it comes from, how you get it, or anything - just that it attached Mike’s soul to his rotting body and that heat weakens its power, nothing that contradicts the simple rules above.
So to recap: No contact possession is possible, Puppet can help other kids possess stuff…
This works for BBVictim.

What is Charlie’s Role in All This?

The puppet is an especially strong player in the process of CC possessing an animatronic, even though, yes, The Fredbear Plush is the one who says they will put the crying child together.
But, here’s the thing: Charlie is the Fredbear Plush! I definitely shouldn’t lose my fellow Charlieplushers on this subreddit :D
But for the uninitiated, you are either welcome to look at this Charlieplush master post here, while I will lay down the basics here.
Charlie has always been shown to be an especially capable spirit. She is the only ghost shown to help other children possess animatronics. Phone Guy calls her out as ā€œalways thinkingā€, and ā€œcan go anywhereā€.
In general, I’m trying to say that Charlie may have additional or stronger abilities than the other spirits, like temporarily possessing a Fredbear plushie to watch over a kid who clearly needs her help.
Plus she can leave her body, which would help her temporarily possess the plush.
Willplush falls flat given the plush speaks when Will is nowhere near the private room, helps out William’s victims by planning Happiest Day in FNAF World, and has strange periods of time when its eyes are unlit and unlit (almost as if whatever is controlling has periods of ā€œenteringā€ and ā€œleavingā€ it…like, say, the ghost Charlie possessing it?)
With that in mind, with the ā€œcore fourā€ games in mind, Charlie, and ONLY Charlie works as the Fredbear Plush.

The Crying Child/BB in FNAF World

But there’s another connection I need to go through: FNAF World. The crying child possessing BB also covers CC’s role enigmatic role in FNAF World.
We all know about the opening where two disembodied glowing eyes tell someone ā€œI will put you back togetherā€ and later, ā€œWe are still your friends.ā€Clearly, the plush is speaking to the crying child.
However, there is more we can learn about this scene.
So, you know how FNAF2 ambiance (CMPTR_LOW_TECH_STAT) plays in the opening of FNAF World, as well as the clock ending? This subtle detail explains a lot about FNAF World…to me, it says that the opening and clock ending take place in 1987, in the FNAF2 building.
This makes perfect sense if the crying child is Balloon Boy, and the Fredbear plush is Charlie.
But what does Charlie mean by ā€œI will you back together?ā€ the same thing she meant back in 1983 - stabilize his spirit now that his body is broken. Find a place for it to inhabit. Since FNAF World’s secret route, in addition to being linked to the crying child is also linked to the happiest day, could it be linked to the arcade games?
Also of note is the fact that the clock ending follows a series of minigames with a distinct connection to the happiest day.
We know the crying child had a big role in Happiest Day as well from FNAF World.
So, how does BB play into the happiest day?

Happiest Day

BB…actually has a big role in Happiest Day. He helps out with a lot of tasks, he ties in with Mangle at four tasks, helping RWQ reach Jeremy to give him a cake, helping Mangle and Toy Chica reach their objectives with balloons, and giving cake to Gabriel.
But there's still one odd thing about BB that is only shared with The Puppet: you can go to his minigame at any time, whenever you like. And you have to go there twice.
I am of the firm belief that in these minigames, it really is BB’s spirit represented as the player of BB’s air adventure, likewise for Mangle, Golden Freddy, The Puppet, and Shadow Bonnie.
If it turns out the trail of breadcrumbs was for BB/The Crying Child, who has an involvement in practically every minigame, then that fulfills BV’s happiest day role as alluded to in FNAF World!

What BB actually does in FNAF2

So now that I’ve told you about BB and what he’s done and who he is, we have to return to FNAF2.
I’ve been thinking carefully about it a lot, and I’ve come to some conclusions that, as I said before, BB has been misunderstood.
The below picture, with BB’s carved-on smile cropped out, and a full battery meter, both show that BB’s happiness is superficial and he does not modify the battery power. (Yet another thing that started off as a joke that I’ve seen some theorists casually pick up)

https://preview.redd.it/oau4720n4g2b1.png?width=512&format=png&auto=webp&s=86f8ec8de7cdcf4da7a665a23a9e23eb68cec186
Those audio recordings, likewise, as I said before, are just audio recordings-and he only has three of them. He uses them for other things than just to laugh. He could be scared he’s in the same office as the killer. He could be scared of a lot of things, with the Crying Child’s ghost.
BB’s manipulation of the lights in the office is what is called a passive skill. It’s something that Bonnie and Chica also do. It’s just something that happens when animatronics are near certain devices. Being so close to all those generators probably futzed with the electricity. It’s called Micro EMP obstruction.
OK, but you must be wondering where I’m going with this, so I’ll cut to the point.
If we’ve established that BB isn’t directly interfering with our equipment and he’s not actually happy about all of this, to what extent is he intentionally causing us harm?Keep in mind, he could attack us directly via jumpscare but does not.
Now I can practically hear you all protesting that BB is too small to attack the guard like that, but is that actually a thing? A threshold where it’s simply impossible for an animatronic to attack a guard?
  • Puppet is some fabric, and a ceramic mask - and attacks the player.
  • Golden Freddy - noncorporeal, also attacks the player! Shadow Bonnie: also incorporeal and crashes your game!
  • Or what about bidybabs and the minireenas? Mini-music man? Need I say anymore?
Size/durability doesn’t factor in - if a robot wants you to die, you will die.
And there are other things that suggest the crying child/BB isn’t putting in his all here: for one, look at the Freddy Head:
Most animatronics either are or aren’t fooled by the Freddy Head. There’s no in-between. Foxy and The Puppet are not fooled. Everyone else is…except for BB. His reaction to the Freddy Head differs depending on where he is. If you show it to him in the vent, he’ll run. If you show it to him while he’s in the office, he’ll freeze and start vocalizing his laugh ad nauseum while your lights stop working.
While Mangle also will not leave the office once he/she successfully gets inside,
you can clearly see his/her head is tipped at a 90-degree angle to not trip the facial recognition system.

https://preview.redd.it/q9vn5r8s4g2b1.png?width=1024&format=png&auto=webp&s=d9fcab4c7cd18637b613b101680ea479f29f71f8
Also, Mangle actually has an endgame to staying in the office - attacking Jeremy / Fritz,
and BB doesn’t, which, as we’ve established above, actually wouldn’t be because he’s just too small.
And furthermore, if you do get him with the mask? Here’s what he does: he will, always, without fail, run all the way back to his starting position! Why?! That’s so inefficient! He slowly works his way up to the office and then completely resets his progress! Most animatronics, with the exception of Toy Freddy, Foxy, and Freddy, do not go back to their starting positions, and even they don’t have to walk as far as BB. Observe, BB’s walk pattern:
https://preview.redd.it/7yx1d4rw4g2b1.png?width=512&format=png&auto=webp&s=1f6c973fa49588072c3ac45cdc999d43360edfb7
This is what happens if you repel him with the mask.
So just to make sure I haven’t lost anybody here,
  1. BB treks all the way across the restaurant to your office. If you show him the mask in the vent, he will run back to his spot on Cam 10, when he could lurk by a closer place.
  2. If a small robot has enough murderous intent then it can and will kill you, which begs the question of why BB does not.
  3. There’s no real reason why the head doesn’t work on BB.
  4. As this theory suggests, the crying child’s spirit possesses BB.
Now look here: we know the crying child has a bad habit of freezing in place when he’s scared and overwhelmed.
https://preview.redd.it/6el40mj15g2b1.png?width=512&format=png&auto=webp&s=40912980ed254b8efc178c1cdf50809062bfeb2d
This is the second minigame where we find the crying child overwhelmed in Fredbear’s. In this minigame, he is able to stand up after a moment of coaxing.
The first one, however, the crying child locking up due to overwhelming distress is pretty much the main point of the game.

What if, what is actually happening when the crying child /BB goes into the office is that he gets scared and starts freaking out, but it comes out as laughter?
I’ll lay out the scenario: The Crying Child / BB, having been killed by accident and apologized to by his brother, has no real motives for revenge on any of that stuff. But he is still afraid of the dark just like he was alive, so he gets sick of staying still alone in the dark and tries to go find somewhere to go.
When he reaches the office, if the guard puts on the mask while he’s in the vent, he’ll be afraid and run back to his starting position because he’s scared of the mask.
ā€œBut what about when he stays in the office and laughs?ā€
Well, for some reason, something different happens. He locks up, the way he did in some of the FNAF4 minigame segments. He locks up and can’t move and starts crying.
ā€œIt sounds like he’s laughing.ā€
Ah, but remember what I said? His laugh could just as well be a sign of fear. Only three prerecorded noises - that’s all he has. That is all the crying child has.
So basically his Micro EMP interference causes problems with the light, but if you don’t scare him back to his place with the mask then he’ll freeze up in place and panic in the form of laughter!

Other Hints

And the cherry on top is that there is STILL more to suggest that the crying child possesses Balloon Boy.
Fruit Punch Clown
Fruit Punch Clown is a small, seemingly innocuous minigame from Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Simulator. However, within the context of BBVictim, it gains a brand new meaning: you see, the objective of the minigame is to ā€œSurpriseā€ as many children as possible. These children are represented by models of Balloon Boy, instead of Helpy.
And how does Fruit Punch Clown accomplish the act of ā€œsurprisingā€ the children? He stands behind them and startles them. The game ends with the frame of every kid looking pretty frightened while Fruit Punch Clown just grins.

https://preview.redd.it/l22unnh16g2b1.png?width=512&format=png&auto=webp&s=60ab5ff44664ff440058cd6149fbdefa2e48c426
Does this look familiar, or what?
Oh, but it gets better: Fruit Punch Clown as a rare line of dialogue:
"Tell anyone about this and I cut your throat."
Some have speculated that this refers to William Afton, but the question is, if William really caught someone watching him commit a crime, would he be content to threaten the witness, or simply go straight to cutting their throat? To me, this sounds more like something a mean older brother would say.
Finally, there’s a hint at BBVictim in Security Breach: BB World.
BB World keeps BB relevant, and also there are hints that we haven’t discovered all the dialogue in the minigame - which in turn hints that there is another spirit in the arcade besides whatever is making that sinister "Good Night" text.

2023.05.22 18:05 Accomplished-Tap1350 Is there any way I can still find the original merch in the UK?

So I haven't had a chance to get the older merch (like the plushies), and now everywhere I tried to look for them, they're either sold out or a scam (ebay).
Can I still find older FNAF plushies like the nightmares, springtrap, stuff like that? I have the original 4 plushies and the Funtime Foxy plush, and I really want to expand my collection.

2023.05.01 22:59 aCheeseMalevolent [FNAF4] Probably a dumb question but why does BV have plushies of the 4 classic Fazbear characters in '83? Wasn't that pre-Fazbear Entertainment, at least in the original FNAF1-4 canon? Why's he scared of them if he refers to them as his friends? Ft. other random thoughts on various FNAF4 lore

I know later games have details that connect dots like these (e.g. the 1983 Freddy Fazbear coins in Help Wanted) but I've come to believe that the best way to understand the plot of FNAF4 is to restrict the focus to just FNAF1-4. I think looking at evidence from later games muddies the waters as much as it helps. I base that on Cawthon's assertion that FNAF1-4 tell a standalone story (e.g. "SL is not FNAF5", paraphrasing) and that everyone figured out FNAF1-3 but nobody managed to crack FNAF4.
So I really strongly think the best theories on FNAF4 would only consist of information from the first four games—e.g., no Henry, no Charlie, etc.
And I realize these might be really dumb questions and I'm probably just forgetting/overlooking something really obvious, but... isn't '83 the era of Fredbear's Diner? Didn't Fazbear Entertainment come later? The only mascots should be Fredbear and Spring Bonnie, right?
Maybe they were just random toys BV had, and Afton based the Fazbear animatronics on his (presumably) dead kid's toys?
Second question—BV refers to the plushies as his friends... but he's terrified of the characters. Not just Fredbear and Spring Bonnie—the girl in the pre-Night 4 minigame outside Fredbear's Diner has all the Fazbear toys, and her dialogue suggests BV is afraid of them (paraphrasing, but something like "What, don't you like my toys?")
I know a popular theory says that BV was friends with the children involved in the MCI, and that their souls are potentially in his plushies, hence they're literally his friends, but that theory doesn't feel like it really clicks nicely into place for me. This theory, and a lot of the FNAF4 theories, seem based largely on elements from SL and PS, when again, Cawthon has said more or less that FNAF1-4 is its own contained story and, before SL and PS even came out, he said he was surprised no one ever pieced FNAF4's plot together. So the first four games should have all the info we need to figure out FNAF4, if Scott was being honest with us. Plus, wasn't the MCI in '85? Argh.
tl;dr—my head hurts.
Random things that really stick in my head, which may or may not have anything whatsoever to do with these questions:
One—FNAF4 can be seen as a remake, or even "premake", of FNAF1 (the obviously-intentional similarities of Bonnie from the left, Chica from the right, Chica in the kitchen, Foxy hiding behind a curtain/closet door and having an increasingly menacing appearance as he gets closer to attacking, Freddy kept in check by keeping eyes on him, etc.) IMO there's definitely some kind of meaningful connection between FNAF1 and FNAF4, and the fact that FNAF4's radio ambience is FNAF1 Phone Guy's Night 1 message backwards really underscores the connection for me (like Cawthon said, the easter eggs weren't random).
So, assuming the nights in FNAF4 are someone's nightmares, maybe they don't take place in '83, only the minigames. I feel like the nights in FNAF4 are the connective tissue that connects the '83 minigames with FNAF1. What the nature of that connection is, I admit I have no idea, but man, it's hard to dismiss that backwards Phone Guy ambience.
At some point, I remember Cawthon saying he only retconned one thing, and that nobody noticed what it was. The obvious candidate is Charlie's gender (SAVEHIM), but IIRC he said that around the time of FNAF4's release, so in that case I have no idea what he could've retconned. I'm super tempted to say it was the Bite of '87, and that he changed it so that it was really the Bite of '83 that we witness in FNAF4, but then again I feel like he's gone on the record that the bite in FNAF4 isn't the Bite of '87. (I have another thought about that potential retcon, but I'll throw it in another comment since this post is already so dang long).
In any case, assuming there's two different bites that result in the victim (at least briefly) surviving without part of their brain in each case, things sure do seem to repeat in the FNAF universe in meaningful ways (the bites, and FNAF1 strongly echoing the nights in FNAF4). The fact that the FNAF4 bedroom is obviously not the child's actual bedroom as seen in the minigames may be a factor in this line of thinking.
Two—speaking of the non-random easter eggs, the picture of the mockingbird that Cawthon and his sons nursed back to health. Mockingbirds are deeply symbolic, mostly for fearlessly guarding their nests, and thus being seen as symbols of unwavering protection. Obviously, the Fredbear plush and BV's plush "friends" demonstrate that motif. Mockingbirds also symbolize innocence, though I believe that's not so much a traditional cultural archetype as a theme from To Kill a Mockingbird, where the death of a mockingbird symbolizes the loss of innocence. Either way, loss of innocence is an obvious and frequent theme in the FNAF series.
Finally, mockingbirds are associated with mimicry, since they mimic the calls of other bird species. This third angle doesn't have quite as obvious a connection to FNAF4, but I'll let folks more knowledgeable of the lore see if that flashes a lightbulb for them.
Three—I'm almost certain this one is meaningless and can be disregarded, but I'm thinking about the IV stand and the medication bottle. An IV stand makes perfect sense for a person who's had part of their brain gobbled up by a malfunctioning animatronic, but pills? Someone in a coma isn't going to be taking pills, and after all, the whole point of an IV is that medication can be administered intravenously instead of orally (though often it's because a particular medication needs to be administered via IV, not strictly because a patient can't take meds orally). One possibility is that the pills and the IV stand correspond to different characters (i.e. IV bag for BV, antidepressants or whatever for his traumatized brother).
The second possibility, more likely I think, is that I'm overanalyzing and Cawthon was just using different medical/hospital motifs, and wasn't anticipating people overanalyzing that particular detail. That said, it's actually pretty uncommon for medicine bottles to be laying around a hospital room—the nurses usually get the meds from their med cart and bring them to the patients' rooms. A bedside table at home, however, is a common spot for med bottles. Conversely, while some folks with certain conditions need to use IV bags at home, they're much more common in hospital rooms. Again, maybe these two easter eggs point to two different characters. But heck if I know.
