So I have been working on a series of projects, learning stuff and prototyping for a proper project on Unity for some months now, quite some time by now BUT I am now reconsidering the engine, what if I were to use Unreal instead?
I'll mention this, a game both visually and similarly designed in idea, many games actually, already exist in Unity, DE, Signalis (graphics and overall design) but I'm not really aware of such things done in Unreal, I know they are or should be possible but I don't know if it should be done there. My impression of Unreal is it being a massive AAA/team engine.
Thoughts? Advice?

I have a mid end newer laptop, it has a 1080p display. I also have a mid range newer PC but it has an old 4:3 1280x1024 display, so I unfortunately have to use old display for it, not that great.
But my question stands in that can I link my PC to my laptop via VGA to HDMI to my laptop and use my laptop 1080p screen for my PC? Is it possible or done before, I want to know if it can be done so I can use a 1080p display for it, it would not be a big hassle to set up. So is this a stupid question or a plausible thing to be done?

Reconnected with my ex on tuesday, 3 weeks after break up. BU was a savage blindside because she was super busy, has grief stuff to work through and no emotional capacity, plus some small rel issues stacking up. We went to a gig together on Friday eve. Lots of positives and physical touch like holding hands, but nothing definitive. She was guarded but generally said positive, hopeful things. Think we can work it it out in time.

Does Ireland have a range of community services like the NHS or are OT roles more hospital based?
I hear that OT's are high in demand but I'm not seeing many jobs being posted. I'm on indeed and HSE. Am i using the wrong search engines? A lot of jobs I have read are very vague and it makes me worry that the job won't be good, because NHS are very thorough in their job description so you have a good idea before the interview. People are just not replying to my enquiries. Seems like kind of a mess

34F, 5ft 10, 350lbs Undiagnosed chronic pain and fatigue since childhood, disabled from 2012
Hi! I've never really had supportive doctors and the one I had for most of my life left me with a huge fear of being seen as drugseeking. Ironically, this led to me starting to illegally use cannabis heavily since I turned 31, after being teetotal for life. This saved my life. I have transitioned to medical cannabis since then.
I am now at a point where I can't afford my cannabis. In my country, we are entitled to most Medications free. I need to figure out how to talk to my GP about actual pain relief without triggering my fears and without being abandoned to my own devices again. I have tried repeatedly to state that I want to avoid addictive medicines or ones that are likely to cause withdrawals because I frequently forget.
My pain issues are related to very tight muscles that make it difficult for me to move around. I can get stuck bending forward and be unable to stand straight. I also have widespread pain throughout all of my body at various times to varying degrees and sensations. I'm hypermobile and frequently have issues with my neck, lower back, pelvis on my left side and my knee and foot on the right. I get sudden injuries just from sitting on hard surfaces or standing up (put back out, muscle rupture in left thigh). I'm also constantly in facial pain from very late wisdom teeth coming through and have had ear (infections), nose (permanently stuffy) and throat (swollen tonsils, uvula) problems all my life.
Obviously my weight is a major issue to deal with but is not the cause of my condition. I am in a medical program for this and am currently working to avoid bariatric surgery.
I want to get my pain managed so I can be properly mobile. Cannabis does wonders for me but I just can't keep affording it. What would you recommend in my situation that won't make my doctor uncomfortable to prescribe?

I am new to the gaming laptop scene - for the last 10 years I’ve built my own towers. However, I need something portable now and can’t justify building a tower. I will effectively be using it as a ‘desktop’ almost always and occasionally needing to take it around for work.

My use case is currently 1080p 144hz for games like CSGO and Pubg, and playing Total War Warhammer 3. However, I am going to buy a new monitor and may be buying a 1440p.
As far as my research indicates, the 3070 is more than enough for 1080p but if I want to future proof and/or play 1440p I would be better with the 3070/ti.
£1300 is the highest my budget will go - so the legion fits that. I am happy to upgrade the SSD (or add another) in due course as well.
Other than price, is there any reason I should go for the TUF if I can afford the Legion in my budget?
