I don’t know why i’m writing to here, other than to vent. But pretty much i was in a relationship with a girl from 2016-2019 we were kinda a high school fling that went into my early 20’s. Now that i’m 25 and single i feel like it’s a good time to let it out. I really didn’t feel like we would be together as long as we were, but as the relationship went on i grew to love her more than i ever thought i would.
We were having problems our first year together and i was unfaithful, i also wasn’t truthful and never told her. I did end things briefly but ended up getting back with her after 2-3 weeks, i thought by ending it i would move on and maybe have a shot with the other girl (i definitely didn’t as it was more of a one night stand) and once we got back together things were good. Unfortunately i think the incident made me less trusting of our own relationship due to my infidelity, i was always wanting to know who she was with, what she was doing and who was texting her, after 2 1/2 more years together she called me and ended it.
we did have a pretty big fight the week before which we actually never resolved (which never happened our whole time together), before this all of my relationships and girls i had been with always wanted me back. Not her, she broke my damn heart, and i wanted her back so bad i drove back to the city she was in (i was about 3 hours away) and luckily enough had a work event in the same city so i came out a day early to try my hardest to get her back. she didn’t want me, and that broke my heart all over again.
Fast forward almost 4 years and i still think about her a lot. she’s in what seems like a great relationship now and i have had a few girlfriends since her, but none like her. I wish still that i could have her back, i remember my next birthday (turning 22) we had linked and had a bit of sex, and afterwards i remember mentioning we’ll get back together one day & that she couldn’t say it wouldn’t ever happen. she replied with “we’re never getting back together”
At this point i do think there’s no chance as she’ll probably marry this guy, and i will still be reaping over the fact i ruined our great friendship / relationship. There’s a lot of other factors of course (long distance / lack of common interests / her in college and me working) but damn do i miss her and still wish i could have her back.
TL:DR I was an asshole to my girlfriend for a majority of our relationship - i’ve definitely matured a lot since then but don’t think i’ll ever get her back but am still not over her.
Any advice as whether i should just keep trying to move on & forget about her forever or keep trying?

I’m currently in the worst possible interest rate loan you can get at 28% APR. As you can see I’m not in the best position there is but I’m proud I was able to save $1k at least which is a start. I have about 4 and a half more years left to pay it off which if I continue doordashing at 4k miles a month, it will be at 400k.
I’m obviously not going to be doordashing that long. I have shoplifting charge from 2021 that is holding me back from every job I applied too, minus any kitchen jobs because of my social anxiety so I’m hoping within that 4 years I could work at Amazon, or Walmart to put less wear and tear on the car..but from where I’m heading it would be at 400k in 4 and a half years.
My question is…what all can I do to make sure the car makes it to 400k? What parts care recommended I replace, or check? I’m really hanging by a thread here because If this car were to break down, I would be out of a job as well so even though I just saved $1k for the first time in life..I need to start making better decisions and be more cautious.

Does anyone know what oils or creams i should buy to “fix” my skin from transtape? Dry skin, discoloration etc? Also to prepare skin for top surgery? Any suggestions r very much appreciated 🙏

Hello folks! Up for your consideration is my fresh off the bench, "bog oak barlow" It's number 15 in my series and is a real beauty!
The blade is O1. All stainless hardware. The scales are made from certified ancient bog oak from the Fens in England and are between 4000-6000 years old. Super thin and very slicey satin spearpoint. Scales are finished with hand rubbed linseed oil.
Knife will ship is a custom padded zip case with signed and numbered COA. There will also be a certificate for the origin of the wood used for the scales as well.
This was a hard one to put up, but I gotta keep the hobby funded!

I had my car stolen from the Southside (yes, it's a Hyundai) and it was recovered in Chesterfield on Corte Castle Rd & Hebrides Dr. If anyone lives in that area or knows someone who lives in that area I am asking that you check your cameras for a blue Hyundai elantra. They stole the car 5/18 and probably dumped it 5/19 very early in the morning. Thank you!

So, I wanna know for next time (which will probably be in a few months to a year) if mineral oil would do anything for my cat if I put it in his bath water. I didn't do that this time, but I was considering it given it's safe to use with his ears. I only wash him every now and then because he often forgets to groom certain parts of his body, mostly in the back like his anus and tail, which then get crusty. I also did it today to help him with his shed, since he was really hairy and getting it all over the place for a shorthair. We use pet friendly shampoo usually, but I'm curious.
TL;DR is mineral oil safe to use when bathing cats?

Doesn't happen when I press on the gas, but there is definitely something rattling or knocking after I put the car into gear and sit at a stop.
Oil level is fine but I cant easily check the transmission fluid.
Please help as this is our only car and my wife and I both need it to get to work. I got it earlier today at a used lot but i waved the right to pay an extra few hundred bucks for if I wanted to back out of the contract within 48 hours...

I washed them and myself off with Dawn, as I've heard that's really good at actually breaking down the oils. Any recommendations for helping my poor hair after washing it with Dawn? With 44 at its close, I need to fill my Survivor kick for a couple months, and I finally came around and found a way to watch Australian Survivor
And I just have to say I am WAY more invested in the first few episodes than I have been with most of the New Era.
FTR, I'm starting with the "reboot" of 2016 season, and it is already blowing my mind. The first challenge alone with the fire vs. resources race is so interesting. The characters all have their quirks, and rootable or not, I like to watch them. Maybe new Survivor has just lowered my standards of the game, but after starting this season, it just brought back the excitement I had for Survivor that I just haven't felt in the post-WAW seasons.
Please no spoilers below (still want to ride this high) but I do want to know if it stays generally exciting? Like comparing the AUS. season to American seasons, which ones do you think are the closest in terms of excitement?
I just wanted to talk about how much I enjoy this and if you have the opportunity to watch AUS. Survivor, I totally recommend :D

So I had grea difficulty finding a car last year here in NC. My belived 2016 4Runner was infringing on our budget as it approached 70k. As a limited edition various suspension bits and pieces we never used started to leak and, for example one equalizing regulator balancing pressure in the hydraulic system was $1500. So between gas mileage and maintenance I decided to purchase another hybrid. My original plan was to wait for a used eV. All I could find was a six month waiting list for white, black, silver and gray Tucsons and same for the Rav 4s which I also like. Fortunately, “I think” a 2022 Blue edition in shimmering silver with 15000 miles became available at a dealer who had been trying to purchase my Toyota for $33K since advertised on Face Book. He didn’t know I was looking for a car at the time.
So the Blue was advertised for $34000, a healthy premium over its new sticker price that was $31,000 with the few accessories it had. That said, we swapped keys, I paid the tax and admin fees and drove my new car home with smile on my face for getting the car I wanted without a car payment attached. I loved. MY 4 Runner and it’s excellent resale value but felt like I got an ok deal.
So arriving home my dear wife - a tree hugging environmentalist who would prefer to be studying critters in Belize says; “Couldn’t you have gotten another color. This one is so plain. It needs something to spice it up”.
Well, there wasn’t a-lot I could do but I went ahead and purchased some nice seat covers and all weather floor liners thinking that would help. It did a little but she still feels like she got shorted.
I am wondering if anybody has had any success with auto exterior graphics packages? We don’t have a ton of money being sixty something baby boomers who worked in human services or I would just go trade the car. Wrapping is expensive isn’t it?
I will appreciate any feedback. I love my soul mate dearly. This sounds like she is spoiled but the poor woman has had a tough five years. She provided support and live in hospice care for her sister who had a protracted dual with dementia then her husband (me) was diagnosed with incurable bone marrow cancer “myelofibrosis” two years ago. I just want to brighten up her life a bit.

I've had strange considerations going through my autism brain lately, mostly based on what I hear Aussies saying in more loose and open contexts, and especially blokes.
I eventually considered most of the men, but started with two. Bandit and Pat. They're mates. Big time mates. They will do anything for each other and seem to be the best of friends. And because of that... do you think they call each other c--t? They're long time, true blue mates. And Aussies. They have to. Not when the kids are around, but they have to, and say it in unguarded moments.
I considered the other Heeler boys first. Stripe says it less, and VERY much not in front of the girls. Because if Muffin ever picked it up, it would be yelled at every bin chicken, ice cream lady, and stranger in all of Brisbane. Rad works on an oil rig. He probably says it more than the names of his fellow rig workers. I'm willing to bet he has to be reminded not to call his brothers that.
I started thinking about other dads and men in general, and will do quick rundowns.
Marcus (Honey's dad): No, he's a toff, very posh, he seems to be British. He might go with b-a-s-... well, that, with Bandit because they work together. If he was Scottish, yeah, of course.
Chloe's dad and Jack's dad: Nah, they're very soft, very kind, not as rough and blokey as Bandit or Pat.
Coco's dad: No, but he seems like a show biz type, probably drops the odd f-bomb from frustration.
Rusty's dad: He's a soldier. That's probably the least harsh thing he says.
Mackenzie's dad: No, super no. He has big goodest boi hunk himbo energy. He's too pure and maybe a tiny bit stupid to do it.
Fido: He and Bandit are at this stage. They were talking taking out the ol tennis balls. They're close enough for c-talk.
The Poffertjies guy: Unlikely. But he does probably call Indy's mum something interesting and Dutch.
Sparky and Chippy: 24/7/365, they're tradies. It's another Uncle Rad situation. But I have this idea that Chippie tries to do it less in front of Cherry, but Cherry doesn't mind.
Grandpa Bob and Grandpa Mort: You WISH this was the most they would say. But both are shown to have very old fashioned and ornery streaks. This may be half the words that pass between Grandpa Mort and that fellow that works for him.
Busker and Alfie: No. Like Mackenzie's dad, they are sweet, pure bois, but less himbo hunk. They're hipster cute.

Hello all! I figured it wouldn't hurt to give this subreddit a try at finding friends, as it hasn't been easy for me otherwise. I'm fine with making friends with anyone from anywhere but if you live nearby and have similar interests, that would be amazing and we should definitely chat, as having IRL friends would get me out of my life routine! :)
Anyway, I'm a Jewish Bisexual woman and I've been with my partner since 2016. We've been married since last September and he's also Bisexual/Bigender. We're in a monogamous relationship. We live in Appleton/Menasha Wisconsin and have a house together with our 3 fur-daughters (cats). We also share a car hobby together and enjoy going to car shows! Along with being ChildFree, I've been sterilized since last August, and I'm also an Anti-natalist.
Now, some stuff about me! I'm an introvert, but I open up a bit more once I'm comfortable around you. I enjoy drawing, and I'm pretty much self taught! I've always liked insects and don't mind picking them up as long as they aren't harmful/poisonous. I also like nature, and riding my bike or going for a walk. I've been working at a bakery since 2021, and I do enjoy it still but wish it paid better. I don't smoke/vape, have never tried alcohol (and never plan to), and don't do drugs or weed (and never will), so please respect that! *** A couple things I don't mind sharing that I'm not often vocal about is that I have an underbite, and I recently accepted that I'm a furry. My husband and I plan to go to Trotcon this year in July, and I plan to wear a partial fursuit if I can get it in enough time. So if anyone is going to be there too, I hope to see you there!
Anyways, I enjoy EDM, 70's, 80's, 90's, rock, dubstep, and don't mind Country music, but I really don't like rap, hip-hop, and heavy metal. I'm a 90's gal, so if you can relate to and miss all the good old shows and cartoons from then, that'll make my day! Nowadays, I don't really watch any current TV shows or movies, as I'm not really interested and prefer to watch the stuff I grew up with. Plus, I rather be playing PC/video games instead! I don't play many multiplayer games, but I have replayed single-player games that I've grown up with quite a lot, depending on my mood. Feel free to ask me about them! If I'm not at home drawing or playing games, I like to be out at malls, museums, amusement parks, antique stores, bike riding, going for walks, or exploring different places! I'm also not a very athletic or exercise driven type person, and have never been interested in sports.
All in all I know I can be a good friend, even though I'm pretty quiet, can be shy, and not as outgoing. I'm very kind, honest, respectful, and willing to be there for anyone if they need cheering up or support. I'm not one to ever start drama and would prefer to not be a part of it, as I'm also a pacifist. I may not be very forward with talking and other stuff, but I'm a loyal and I would never play games or hurt anyone.
