I don't even know where to start.
We both go to the same university, where we met, and were together for four months total. In the beginning I always had a lot of fun around him and his friends, but I knew that we probably weren't going to end up working out, especially because of the long distance over summer.
The term 'himbo' perfectly describes this man: his lack of general knowledge is astounding. The first time I met him, he didn't know what the word homophobic meant, he didn't know Montana is a state, and he didn't know what paprika was. Throughout our relationship more of these shocking discoveries came to light: he didn't know what a hate crime was, and has almost zero basic historical education. My personal favorite was that he could not name the seven continents. He guessed first The United States, then Alaska, and then corrected Alaska to Argentina. He did end up figuring out Antartica, props to him, but I feel understanding his absolute stupidity is necessary for the story.
At college, anytime I brought him around my friends, he was horrible. Inexplicably horrible. He was on his phone the whole time, did not engage in group conversation, and at times, was actively rude towards my friends. I ignored the red flag, and talked to him about the problem, hoping he would change his behavior (he said he would), but in the few times that he came around my friends I felt incredibly embarrassed by him. His excuse was always that they aren't 'his type of people' and even went to far as to call them obnoxious.
Fast forward to summer, he comes to visit my family for the first, and stays for a week. He treated my family the same way he treated my friends, paying them no mind, and thinking only about himself. Throughout his stay, he cried 3 separate times, in a seemingly manipulative way, managing to end every day on a tense and sour tone. Almost like he wanted to be miserable, and make me miserable. This trip my parents also generously got us Universal tickets, and he did not even thank them, even after I reminded him to. On top of this, he left his stuff scattered around my house, and generally made a mess, which doesn't necessarily bother me, but it was definitely disrespectful.
The next time he visited for just a weekend, but it is where the story gets really interesting. He brought into my house chocolate square edibles, and left them in his bag on the ground. The day prior, I talked to him about the importance of closing my bedroom door (where he was staying) to keep the dogs out, but I was not aware of the weed at this time. Come Sunday, my four girlfriends are at my house hanging out with both of us, and he is acting the same way towards my friends that he always did. Then I noticed my dog acting really weird. My mom wasn't home at the time, so first I called her to get home ASAP, about 20 minutes. In those 20 minutes I was with my extremely sick dog and 7 year old sister on the couch hoping that my dog didn't die before my mom could take her to the vet. My boyfriend walked right past me, and didn't come to sit with me, despite my obvious concern and need for help, until I called him over. He stood behind me, pet the dog twice, and then went into my room to call his friend and watch Fortnite youtube edits.
When my mom got home, she took the dog to the vet, where they first ran a drug panel. It tested positive for THC, caffeine, and Benzos. Remember when I said he left his stuff everywhere- he left packets of RunGum (caffeinated gum for running), and chewed up pieces around my house that my dog got into. The dog also obviously got into his edibles. He still won't admit to the benzos.
Before my mom called me to tell me about what showed up on the tests, or give any update, my boyfriend was frantic. He was yelling "NO!", and "FUCK!" to himself. I didn't really know what to make of it, but looking back, it's clear he knew that whatever happened was due to him, and he did not speak up to tell me, even though my dog would have definitely died without the wonders of modern medicine. By the time my mom calls me with an update about the drug panel, my boyfriend is crying hysterically, making it really hard to get any pertinent information out of him regarding the drugs.
Already this situation is not ideal, and his reaction to it made the problem much worse. I don't say this to be rude, I know that people cannot control their emotions but DAMN I have never seen anyone cry as much as this man does. At this point, my parents want him to be gone before they get back from the vet, but I can't get him to leave because of the emotional turmoil he's going through. I ended up getting my aunt to come over and help me calm him down, because I seriously could not do it alone; he was in crisis. Finally he leaves after his two hour breakdown, but of course this experience caused significant issues in our relationship. He proves disrespectful and self-serving at every intersection.
At this point, my whole family and all my friends wants me to break up with him, and they are certain that we will not work out. As a side note, earlier in the weekend, my boyfriend did not help my mom bring in the groceries, and stole the aux from her when she went to bring the groceries in. In my mind, this is worse than the dog. It was intentional. I agree with them, and after a week, I muster up the courage to call him and break up officially, though we had been rocky, and I think he knew it was coming. I said the words 'I want to break up with you' three times, and each time it got ignored. He begged me to at least go on a break for a few weeks. To give us a chance. I conceded, and decided to sit on it. Much to my surprise, the next day at 3pm I receive the following text from him: "Its over. I'm breaking up with you." I responded, "you're texting me this?", and he said (and I quote), "I can pull the trigger unlike you. Neva cared." NEVA CARED????? That's why you cried for hours?
Well a few hours after he sent those messages, he told me he started to really regret his actions. He called his friends, and they all told him he was stupid, and then he told me he cried again for another 2 hours. He called me later that night and begged me to get back together and go back onto the break, to which I obviously declined. I told him I would not be getting back together with him, but that I would talk to him in two weeks.
This is where, once again, the story becomes really funny. Yesterday I received a tag on a TikTok video from his account posted two years ago. The comment was asking if we were still together, but I thought it was really strange because I never met the person, and they were tagging me on a super old video. My boyfriend, of course responded to the comment and said "we are broken up as of now, but we are going to talk in two weeks". This struck me as really fishy. I called my boyfriends best friend about it, and we came to the conclusion that it was my boyfriends own alt account, and he crafted the comments to get my attention, and probably to remind me that he's thinking about it. Extremely manipulative, but also soooooo funny. That was my final straw. I knew I needed to tell my story, because everything that happened was so fucking crazy.
Also, just for fun, he told me the reason he didn't interact with my friends at my house is because they are "reasonable attractive and he knows how he is with girls, and he didn't want to accidentally flirt with them". He also has no female friends, and no desire to have any. He told me he "wasn't dating me for my looks" and that he doesn't want to date anyone "too attractive". This is the tip of the iceberg, but honestly I don't regret any of it, just for the humor of it all.

my iPhone 14 Pro Max rotates my landscape apps occasionally at random points even though rotation lock will be on. it’s mostly when just opening an app. it’s not app specific for example i’ll have youtube open on my phone and place it somewhere and the video will rotate i’ll go to check control center to make sure rotation lock is on i see that it is then go back to youtube and it spins the app the right way again. it’s not consistent and is just really weird and annoying since i’ll be in the middle of playing a game or doing something and the screen just flips. anything i can do to fix this?

So the other day my 18f gf told me she was at her best friends house which is usual. She was telling me she was craving this dish she had made at her friends house and I was just telling her what was it this and that, just basic conversation. Then she says how the dish was so good even her best friend and best friend’s boyfriend and his friends liked it and her brother liked it, keep in mind her brother would try hitting on her with heart eyes just about 2 years ago and she claims he didn’t know we were together but I find that hard to believe because even tho at that time her and her best friend weren’t as close I’m sure the best friend at some point told her brother that her friend has a boyfriend or maybe not I’m not sure. But anyways so I get a little upset especially about her cooking for the brother and so I say, so u jus cooked for them all those guys especially ur best friend boyfriend’s friends that I don’t know neither do you, and she said well she was just making something for her and her friend and then the brother and one of the guys asked her to make them something too and so she did so because she thought it was rude to not do so, she’s also done this before she’s told me that sometimes she’s just making stuff and if a random guy ask her to make some that she makes some to not be rude she says. but me personally I take it as a flirtatious thing even though she claims it’s not. I need advise?

In the comments to my “TIBH is a Leo book”, u/Focaccyna said that for a Leo book, TIBH contained a lot of Virgo symbolism. (How about Gus being a virgin, for example?) So I reread TIBH through Virgo glasses and found many Virgoean themes and symbols there!

Don’t get me wrong; I am still certain that TIBH is at least partially a Leo book. But what if it’s actually both a Leo and a Virgo book? If JKR plans ten books in total, one sign per book is obviously not her plan. She’s already skipped a “Taurus” book (or combined it with primarily “Aries” CoE). No wonder TIBH, which I think is a “sister” book of CoE, goes over more than one sign, too. Just for the fun of it, let's imagine that we've already had Virgo in TIBH, and
Libra covers such themes as partnerships, marriages, and legal contracts.
So I would guess TRG will be rotating around married (divorced?) couples or legal partnerships the same way TB was rotating around mothers and TIBH - around fathers.
Libra is associated with justice and judges. We might visit a court. Would it mean seeing more of Ilsa, the lawyer? I certainly hope so!
Lady Justice is blind - I expect someone blind in TRG.
Libra's archetype is a devil’s advocate. We might meet somebody defending atrocious crimes in court. Libra is believed to be highly intellectual and morally ambiguous!
Popular astrology believes Libras to possess unusual persuasive powers. Combined with the highly intellectual and morally ambiguous aspects, they can be excellent politicians, motivational speakers, and lifestyle gurus. How about cult leaders?... Wink wink, I’m speaking about you, Norfolk community!

If in LW we saw Sarah Shadlock winning Matthew, in TRG, we might see how their marriage is going on.
Izzy (Robin’s connection in the Ministry of Justice of all places) might reappear.
(Izzy might be in the decoration business now, and Sarah is an art dealer - Libraean occupations!)
In LW, Linda visited Robin in London. In TRG, Robin might visit Linda in Masham.
Libra is one of the “double” signs of the Zodiac (together with Pisces and Gemini), so we can expect some level of duplicity. I wonder if Robin has to take out her twin Venetia for a case again.
Charlotte’s twins are Libras born in LW. I think we’ll get a glimpse of them in TRG.
Robin suffered psychological issues in LW - Strike will most definitely suffer from them n TRG. In LW, Robin quits psychotherapy - I wonder if Strike will do the same.
He certainly will be on a diet! The symbols of Libra are a sword and scales. To weigh what is necessary and to cut what serves no longer.

Scorpio’s archetype is The Detective - will we meet a competing agency or other detectives?..
All sorts of medical professions ‘report’ to Scorpio, especially chemists and pharmacists.
Strike is a Scorpio rising - meaning obtained Scorpio traits due to his early experiences. We might learn something about his childhood.
There might be connections with other water books - CC, SW, and TB - but especially with SW (Venus in Scorpio). We’ll see “the Tower” (Mars) and “the Hanged Man” (Water element) symbolism. (Something bad happens somewhere high - Someone hangs; the hero gets a new perspective).

Okay, it’s time to wrap up! All in all, I think TRG will not be a Virgo book. (Too many themes to repeat from TIBH…). It will be either Libra, or Scorpio, or a combination of both.
If there is a Chinese connection in the next book (I Ching, Chinese lantern, Chinatown Twitter header might point there - or nowhere at all), then there is also Azure Dragon: a Chinese constellation that unites Libra and Scorpio.
Personally, I would like TRG to be a Libra book. Libra is the 7th sign of the Zodiac, and TRG will be the 7th book of the series. If JKR writes in symmetrical composition, it will also make TRG and LW parallel “air” books.

- Virgo’s tarot card is The Hermit - Gus lives in his room like in a hermit’s cave;
- Virgo belongs to the element of Earth - the killing happens in a cemetery; there is a cemetery in the game, too;
- Virgo is ruled by the trickster Mercury - Gus pretends to be Paperwhite and several other people, including Mercury’s Scaramouche;
- There is an Odinist cult in the book (Odin = Scandinavian Mercury);
- Its members also pretend to be someone they’re not (Lord Drek);
- Health is a central theme for Virgo. I’m looking at you, Strike, Josh, Gus, Inigo, Kea, Morehouse, and all the people in the background with their legs broken;
- Virgo's professions will be teachers, doctors, psychologists, editors, accountants, dietitians, personal assistants, and natural scientists. (Thinking about Mariam, Ashcroft, Prudence, Katya, Inigo, Morehouse, and doctors who admit Strike);

- It started on October 9 - in Libra;
- It was a Robin-heavy book with a female customer (Edie);
- Who was an artist creating an animation in partnership with her boyfriend;
- The book had several important partnerships: Edie/Josh, Gus/Morehouse, Lord Drek/Vilepechora, Katya/Inigo, Yasmin/Anomie, Wally/MJ;
- On the justice side, we dealt with Pen_of_Justice;
- we met Ilsa (and briefly heard about her current court case);
- Metaphorical blindness was everywhere. “Two forms of darkness are there. One is Night… And one is Blindness.” was an epigraph to the whole book;
- Several people were artists, including the victim, the killer, and many suspects and witnesses. Edie, Josh, Gus, Kea, Zoe, Pez, Mariam, Niels…
- Robin herself got to practice her artistic abilities;
- She had to be not only Venetia but Jessica Robbins, too;
- She had somewhat of a sexual awakening - Venus influence!
- Charlotte was divorcing and fighting Jago over the custody of their twins;
- Strike suffered from psychosomatic issues and now must address his trauma;
- At the end of the book, Robin’s name appears on the frosted glass door (partnership theme again);
- In the last scenes, she’s off to give a try to a romantic partnership with Murphy.
TRG will be a Scorpio book!

Disclaimer: there's probably no benefit in reading this. I'm just sharing an old story and using this as a public journal.
So back in the day when I was 16yo in high school, the computer nerd me had an app idea that solves a problem in my school.
To illustrate the problem, here's a little back story about my school first. It was a boredring school where me and the boys lived in school dorm during weekdays. As kids, we weren't allowed to go outside the school area (2 dorms, school, little park and playgrounds) until the end of the week when we go back to our homes using school buses.
So when someone wanted to buy stuff from outside, most commonly snacks and fast food, what did we do? That's right, we had to order delivery.
The problem with delivery is it was too costly (20 L.E.). When you want to buy a snack for 5 L.E. or a sandwitch for 30 L.E. would you pay 20 L.E. for delivery? Of course absolutely no one could bear that cost. So we used to order in groups and split the fee.
The ritual of ordering in groups is some guy will volunteer to collect the orders, do the accounting stuff, call the "TukTuk guy" to deliver the orders, and actually go downstairs to meet the "TukTuk guy" to collect the delivery and finally go give everyone his order.
Now during that time I noticed problems with this ritual like:
1- Often times it's difficult to find someone who will volunteer to collect the orders because it's not an easy task
2- Sometimes there would be someone in another floor collecting order and you wouldn't here about it
3- Sometimes it's the opposite and you see the volunteer running between rooms to beg people to order so they can split the delivery fee further
So basically it was hard to bring orderers and the volunteers together.
So I thought of an app idea that would do the following:
1- When you want to order but you don't want to volunteer to collect the orders, you click a button and the app adds you to a list of orderers for 60 minutes along with a note of what you want to order.
2- Eventually some guy will see a list of people who want to order right now and that will encourage him to announce himself a volunteer to collect their orders
3- The volunteer will click on a button to announce himself as a volunteer then the app will do the matching between them
And the end to our story is that unfortunately I didn't excute on that idea back then for
1- I wasn't able to afford the cost to launch the app. The $25 of Google play store alone was like REALLY TOO MUCH for me (I live in a third world country), let alone the server cost
2- But I thought of collecting that fee from my freinds who indded liked the idea so much
3- But then came my lack of discipline and dedication as a kid (which is still with me lol). After some time I gave up on the idea because the energy spike ended and I also felt like it will be a waste of time especially I wasn't that experienced programmer back then so I had to do much work to put together an app like this
Had I built the app, I imagine it would have gotten me a scholarship to a prestigous university in my country or something. Or maybe I would have pivoted it into a real startup that solves similar but bigger problem.

I’m looking to buy myself a delta 8 e-joint. To give you all some background information, I am a 22 year old Dutch guy, I still live in the Netherlands and I am living at home with my parents since they live relatively close to my university.
Before I digress, I have a lot of experience smoking joints and doing edibles (both regular weed ones and the delta 8 ones). I love smoking, but I hate the fact that my clothes and hands reek of weed after I have smoked. I have been looking at Sugar Extrax vapes, but I am not sure whether this is a reputable brand and if those vapes leave an odour behind, as I would like to enjoy some grass in my room. In this case, should I just stick to edibles or are E-joints a viable alternative for me?

Vasco fights Eli just for the sake of Sally's plan, and if t works then their fight might get interrupted. Eli even showed reminiscing about his school life.
Hudson interferes during their Vasco and Eli's truce and charges at Eli.
Vasco stops Hudson saying Eli is on their side now, but Hudson refuses to stop.
Vasco gets serious and understands that Hudson wasn't ever on the Allied as a teammate, he only wanted revenge. And decides to take him on.
Hudson attacks Eli, Eli dodges, while Vasco connects his punch with Hudson.

- The Card Shop Live sale last month was pretty awesome for anyone that got in early and was able to work out the free shipping. Hoping to see more of that as stores clear the way for LOTR and Commander Masters.
- LOTR previews have started and anticipation for the set is flying high. Drops 6/23, so pre-release is almost here. With the copious amount of product lines and Hasbro’s penchant for printing to the ground, you have to believe they are going hard on printing this one. What are you planning to buy? Holding or ripping? Who’s going to get that 1 of 1 curly boi!
- Have people started to warm up to Aftermath? After the leak and Pinkerton fiasco sentiment was crazy low, but maybe there are actually some decent cards in the set.
- Did they just reprint the Collector Edition Warhammer 40K decks? That could be a problem. Zendikar gift boxes were reprinted too right? What other products that were supposedly a single printing ended up not being?
