My narcissistic manager would privately tell me incorrect information and publicly correct me for attention. He would belittle and insult me in private, isolating me from others. He would demand my belongings as gifts if I wanted a reasonable raise, and if he asked for a financial favor, he would make me work freelance jobs to earn money, only returning a portion of it. He would also gossip about everyone behind their backs while pretending to be nice in person.
To everyone else, he portrayed himself as the best person in the world. I endured his behavior for three years until I reached my limit. I decided to complain to the CEO about his actions and how he involved me in his conflicts and office politics. Initially, the CEO seemed understanding, but later on, I learned that they had informed him about my complaint. I've heard from others how they perceive me as an "insect," and it seems the CEO has discussed me with them.
The narcissistic boss eventually resigned a few months later and moved to another country for a better job. Before he left, I tried to confront him, but he denied any wrongdoing. He claimed that it was the CEO who coerced him into those actions and criticized the CEO for lacking the balls to admit it. He also mentioned that the CEO had fired people and falsely attributed their firings to my narcissistic boss. Despite revealing this information to me, he maintained a good relationship with the CEO because his philosophy was "it is about what they can give you."
Now, some people keep asking me for his contact information, assuming we were close friends. Others gossip about me, claiming I will leave as soon as he contacts me and suggesting that my complaints were merely a facade. A few individuals argue that I began "spreading negativity" about him because he returned one of my "gifts" and demanded a more expensive replacement. They believe he was a good person whom I manipulated, and now they perceive my actions as an attempt to tarnish his reputation. One person has even told me to leave the field entirely because according to him, I don't belong here.
Has something similar happened to anyone else?

Isn't 14+4 a little late in the pregnancy for the symptoms to make a comeback? I felt so good in the last couple of weeks. This week, I had a lot of things done because I had a huge rush of energy. My 1st trimester was a nightmare, so I was so happy to feel like my old self. I cleaned my car's tapestry ffs. I was a ball of energy. Then, yesterday morning, I was nauseous and threw up. Today started with nausea as well, but the fatigue and the overall horrible state are killing me. I'm back to being a couch potato. Is this like a last hoorah for my 1st trimester symptoms?

Hi everyone! Would anyone here be able to help me get in contact with either the Dean of architecture or admissions direction at UH?. I applied back in January and have been waiting a decision ever since. Submitted my portfolio by Feb 1st. I had received emails about sending them my transfer paperwork and international degree evaluation, which I have done every time. I have gone in person 4 times and email the admissions office in multiple occasions with not luck. My application status shows as “completed” online for the last 2 months. Last I heard from an admissions person is that my application was in the limbo due to someone seating on my application because they could not understand if I was transfer if international student. My application was done as transfer student, which is what I am looking for. The architecture front desk and admissions from desk people have not been helpful and pass the ball around from one place to another. This is sad and frustrating. I have way more details about everyone that I have ever spoke with and what they have said. One person in admissions office admitted to them failing to properly process my application and apologize on behalf of the University, yet nothing has been donde. I am truly desperate at this point. I (24f) have a newly wheelchair bound mother (due to years of negligence of her own body and consistent chain smoking). I also have a younger sister (22f) who has a young son.
As of around April, I have been without a job due to having to take leave to take care of my mother as she was having several big surgeries and would be unable to take care of herself on her own. I knew that my sister would be unable to just leave work due to having a son she has to provide for. I agreed to take on the responsibility of watching him while she worked because my mom was still in the hospital and my sister desperately needed a babysitter.
I have no issues in doing so, he is a delightful ball of energy but now with having the task of having to care all day round for my mother it has made it incredibly difficult to do both. I don’t want to make my family upset by saying I can’t do both but it is becoming increasingly difficult each day to maintain my sanity while also trying to carry on my daily tasks.
I haven’t been able to even look for a job or pay my own bills because even though my mother has acquired a large some of money it seems that everyone else needs that money more than the daughter that has sacrificed her livelihood and life to make sure she is well taken care of.
For some context my mother has always favored my sister over myself which has resulted in her verbally and emotionally abusing me for many years, I usually would just grit my teeth and take it or just lash out due to the constant stress. I still love my mom despite the despair she has put me through.
I know coming to reddit is insane but I have been crying myself to sleep most nights recently due to the incredible stress Im under, I feel so guilty for feeling the way I do. I just want to be appreciated for once.
TLDR: Eldest daughter taking on responsibility of being 24/7 care for elderly abusive mother and babysitter for younger sister; at wits end but feeling tremendously guilty for feeling overwhelmed after agreeing to do so.

I (NB 24) didn’t get diagnosed until I was 22 and I’ve been working in relation with my current boss (F40s?) since I graduated high school. My boss (F40s?) prior also was diagnosed with ADD, but that is also a whole other post. Point being is during that time I felt like I had to compensate for both of our disregulation and distraction in managing tasks. This, in addition to a lot of other things, led me to decide to choose my current employer when the time came where they both needed more than half my work schedule and I needed to go full time for one or the other. It was messy, but it was worth it. I was impressed with her organization (despite my diagnosis I am a very organized person as well, but struggle with executive functioning nonetheless) and am still glad I made the choice I did 2 years ago. The hyper focus, time blindness and struggle to keep tasks in my head when distracted (ex. Client phone calls) do impact my job despite my best efforts to manage. I will start a day knowing I have a meeting (I work from home) and will be thinking about it all day, but when the time comes I am wrapped up in a task or get a call and I could miss the meeting entirely if I am not careful. I write it down in my planner, add it to my calendar, I even have a weekly alarm set to attend the regular weekly meeting with my boss. I do a decent job of showing up, most of the time. Where I usually get caught is when the meeting time moves, or there is a meeting that isn’t part of my usual schedule. I have missed whole meetings or shown up very late. It’s definitely something that I try to account for with additional reminders. So I had a unusual meeting scheduled the other day and before the meeting I told my boss, she will usually text me to ask if I can still attend if I’m 5 min late, that I struggle when the meetings are not at the usual time and to just text me if I am not there when it starts. So yesterday I get a call from a client, am doing some stuff to set them up and I get a her usual text to ask if I am coming. I swear it was on my mind all day that I had a meeting, but by the time 3pm rolled around… I just lost track of time. I got on the meeting about 6 min late and we were talking. She essentially said what I did, that she understood that it’s hard for me when the meetings are not at regular times. She was already texting me prior and has always been patient with my fidgeting, exercise ball that I sit on, I talk a lot (where I think I show hyperactivity), distractibility, mistakes, tardiness , emotional disregulation. I feel so fortunate to have a workplace where my input is valued, where my talents can shine, and where my limitations are understood and accommodated within reason. I understand being late is rude and I always come forward with solutions, but I am never going to be able to perfect timeliness. I appreciate the patience from my peers, the honesty I can come forward with about my diagnosis and the grace I am given. I work in mental health, but that doesn’t necessarily mean every practice is like this. I will continue to work to find spaces that have space for me. It is a relief to be imperfect and for that to be ok. It reminds me to continue to move away from those who choose righteousness over understanding. Those who aim to put me back in my place, those who see my diagnosis as an excuse and my condition as an inconvenience. I don’t have to be a burden in the eyes of those close to me, I have talents too, a lot of them. I hope you all can find or have found spaces where you are given room for your struggles and uplifted for your talents. It’s possible and you do deserve it, no matter what anyone else says.

Last night, I gave up my contaminated bags, even a new one and much content to save my life and save the world. I danced without at least two bags, to encourage fitness/health in society; I lost some sleep because I was woken up by interesting guards in white but I gained more miles on a pedometer. I had the opportunity to see a beautiful red jacket, reminiscent of what I would wear at church, where I read the Bible aloud. Upon seeing that jacket on the rack, I gasped. Then the alarm rang.

Once upon a time, I lost a pingpong championship (Forrest Gump is still a champ) to my college best friend and a cool pianist who said he ducked into the oven when he heard gunshots outside his family member's home. But I remember well how I surprised myself too as I caught the ball mid-air above my head like a baseball player.
Another time, time was running out. Everyone else who were seated seemed to have left. I seemed to have lost time, but not been lost in time. I finished 20 recipes/list of 20 cookables for vegetable medley - frozen or canned. My handwriting I hope was ok. I hope the cleanup crew smiled. I seemed to have won a tiny bit of more paper to write about another international conference, at least once with 40,000 people... I may have won a tiny bit of paper because I forgot to check out like at the Disney hotel.

It does not take only one person to heal your broken heart or to bring you back on course eg after a TIA or another incident. It does not mean you need 20 girlfriends in succession, 1 by 1, to heal you. But for instance, if you're a survivor of a crash, it takes the tow driver, the policeman, ambulance and firemen as needed, people with cellphones even if you already have your own to get through the night and beyond. It takes Uber, Lyft, Supershuttle, Greencab, the city transit, or your friends to get you back to your workplace and home if they are at least 30 minutes apart by Mustang.

Hello All, Will be visiting your city soon with a 6M, 4F, and 21month M and Centreville Amusement Park has caught my eye. I'm wondering if it's a good idea to go - For some context - my 6M is on the spectrum and has a hard time waiting in line, especially if it's particularly hot or cold or loud in an enclosed space. When we've gone to amusement parks in the past here in the states they usually have disability passes but I didn't see anything like that on the website. We will also be there the weekend of the Dragon Boat races and I'm wondering what kind of effect that has on the park and even getting there. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated (not just for the amusement park).

What is the one moment in One Piece that is most satisfying to watch/read for you?
I'll go first.
Mine is when Luffy finally punches Charlos (that Celestial Dragon) on Sabaody Archipelago. It just sent a wave of satisfaction through my soul. When Charlos had made out unscathed after that encounter with Zorro, it made me so frustrated, but that punch scene was worth it.
Enel realising his electricity powers don't work against Luffy, comes in close second.

I don’t literally think this, let me explain and feel free to contraddict me.
I loved Botw, and I love the open world in both games, it is very well done, however matter of fact is the storytelling suffers so much from it. I don’t mind that both games’ story happens mostly if not entirely through memories, but it would be nice for the story events to take place in real time as we go like in the older games. I found my first Tear of the dragon randomly whilst skydiving, and when I realized they were memories and explained the story I went and hunted all of them because I was so intrigued. This is entirely my fault, I didn’t even unlock the maps for some of the regions, I went straight to the Geoglyphs through skydiving because it seemed like a fun quest. I got to the last few Tears and before I knew it the whole game flashed before my eyes, I had gotten the master sword from the Light Dragon and pushed straight to the “Defeat Ganondorf” quest, and that’s when it hit me, when I went to Korok forest and did the 5th sage quest, that I missed on a huge chunk of the game as Mineru and Deku didn’t guide me through the main quests and getting the Master sword, instead the dialogue was simply a “well done” and both “Trial of the MS” and “Recovering the Hero’s sword” quests were immediately marked as complete. Again, this is entirely my fault but it took so much away from the gameplay experience and I really think the game needs a bit more guidance (which the lack of can be argued to be both freeing or a flaw), not a “Do this then that” but at least a suggestion of what you should do next as the game basically allowed me to go ahead and skip several main quests and with it the story, and now the game just feels rushed. Obviously this isn’t the case, Totk is anything but rushed, and I know that part of Botw/Tlok’s beauty is being able to tackle the game in any order, but personally I think that the game letting you do things meant for the end of the main quest without any warning whatsoever that there’s stuff to do before takes a lot from the experience and lowkey ruins the game. Obviously this can be easily fixed by replaying the game a second time knowing to go in the right order, but some linearity only for the storytelling would be great.

Welcome to the Hub Post for the NFL Top 100 Players of the 2022 Season!

METHODOLOGY

Several years ago we made a decision to focus on ranking just the previous season based on feedback. This year we continued that plan and only ranked players based on their performance during the 2022 regular season, since that is an equal baseline for all players. Post Season play was not considered in the rankings which is a continuation from last year per sub feedback. Additionally, we have increased the games played requirement from 10 games to 11, to be closer in proportion to the prior standard of 10 games in a 16 game season.

• Step 1: Getting the list of representatives. That’s what we did back in January. We started with over 100 rankers which led to 54 completed ranking submissions
  
• Step 2: We began nominating players who ranker’s believe should be considered that have played/ a minimum of 11 regular season games. Rankers from each of the represented fan bases submitted nominations for their own teams' players. This ended up being 194 players in total. This took about a week or so and was the only player pool for consideration.
  
• Step 3: The Grind. Once the pool was created, we utilized rankings threads about what tiers each player is in within their position group. Users were to break players into the following tiers for their peers to evaluate: Top 25, Top 50, Top 100, Top 101-125. This is done to give everyone an idea of where each ranker feels a player should be ranked based on 2022 regular season play only. This is an important distinction; if we were to rank players using past performance while projecting their standing heading into the 2023 season, the context would be completely different. Do you think a player who had a down year in 2022 will bounce back to the top tier player he’s been? I’d probably agree. However, that’s not what users were tasked with evaluating. Furthermore, we did this by positional grouping in individual threads; standard positional breakdown was QB, RB, WR, TE, OT, OG, OC, Interior Defensive Linemen (IDL), EDGE Rushers (EDGE), Off-Ball Linebackers (LB), Safety, CB. If most users have a player in Tier III (Top 100), for example, while someone has him unranked while another has him in Tier I, we’ll be able to find out why they are such outliers publicly. This took roughly 2 months, because we want everyone to have a thorough discussion of any questions they may have. It also helps individual rankers visualize where players should land on their own personal lists prior to submitting. It also helps prevent any funny business.
  

NOTE 1: There were no individual player threads submitted by users discussing the merits of players for or against their placement on the list. Users were also required to complete roughly 80% of these tiers prior to submitting their own lists for the overall average. There were breaks built into the process to allow everyone time to do the work and catch up (if necessary) but inactive users were removed periodically. Hence the difference in the total number of people from the start of the process and the total number of submitted sheets.
NOTE 2: No ranker was forced or encouraged to rank a certain numbelimited number of positions on their list based on some arbitrary formula or idea. For example, NO ONE was told they need to limit the number of QBs on their Top 100 list. No ranker was directed to ignore any positional value; users were encouraged to factor positional value as they saw it into their rankings since it is a largely subjective measure.

• Step 4: After discussions were completed, the remaining users submitted their own, personal Top 125 list. Ranking 125 players was done to get a more accurate and fair average, especially towards the bottom end of the list where rankings tend to wildly fluctuate. Users were given over a week to complete their list.

NOTE 1: Rankings are submitted via individual Google Sheets and auto-compiled into a master list. We reviewed each list for outliers with the help of former rankers to catch individual ranks that are far off the players calculated mean, whether intentionally or accidentally. We calculated a mean rank then the standard deviation for each player. After that, we automatically flagged all ranks outside 1 standard deviation to ensure I caught user submission errors using built-in Google Sheets conditional formatting functions. We also flagged ranks 2 standard deviations or more from the mean to ensure rankers intent with their own list. This was done to ensure flags were identified with as little bias as possible. Conditional Formatting formulas were used to highlight cells to verify automatically to remove subjectivity. Users then had the opportunity to correct any submission errors found prior to finishing the list. We used 1 standard deviation in addition* to 2 since some players had large standard deviations and I wanted to be certain I caught actual mistakes. Rankers were only required to justify ranks 2 standard deviations from the players mean; the keyword here being justify as they weren’t directed to correct them. The entire spirit of this list is to take several individual rankings and find an average.
NOTE 2: All rankings will be made public. That may obviously bring some unwanted heat. But we don’t believe in skirting transparency for convenience sake. This was made known in the Call for Rankers and during the ranking process. This sub will only see the ranks for each post during the reveal. The final post - The Post Mortem - after all reveals will have a data dump with all ranks, individual sheets, and outlier ranking data made available.

• Step 5: With all rankings submitted and corrections made, if any, users lists were locked and their submissions finalized as their own. We then calculated an average rank as noted above. Unranked players were designated with a rank of 140 to tabulate the average for all nominated players. Additionally, one high rank and one low rank were removed from each player's tally to calculate the average rank. Players ranked 101-125 in the average will make the Honorable Mentions list while the remaining 1-100 will be the ranked players. Any ties were broken by their average before the one high rank and one low rank were removed.
  
• Step 6: The Reveal… where we are now!
  

For the second straight season, myself and u/mattkud have been honored to run the ranking process. We cannot thank our predecessors, u/MikeTysonChicken , Mister_Jay_Peg , u/Staple_Overlord , and u/skepticismissurvival , enough for building a platform that allows us to run this list as thoroughly and efficiently as we did. I’d also like to thank all the rankers, both the ones that finished the list and even those that didn’t. Overall they did a great job (except for the ones that mixed up Quincy Williams and Quinnen Williams on their ranking sheet)
After three years of ranking myself, I can tell you this is a fun way of spending the offseason regardless of the praise or scorn you get for the list. You get to interact with people and fanbases that you might not otherwise pay attention to, and analyze and watch players who you might know only in passing. Sometimes I say the final ranking isn’t the most important part, it’s about the journey of rewatching all these great players and having a newfound appreciation for them. I know I’ve become a more knowledgeable football fan since I first signed up to join the list, and I’m sure most rankers would say the same.
The rankers had a number of strategies for how they ranked the players and each was allowed to follow their own personal guidelines within the given parameters and as long as they were not simply using derivatives of other outside rankings. Basically, have your own positions and beliefs. As the reveal progresses, the rankers will have the ability to volunteer their player lists for the revealed numbers and/or where they ranked the listed players as they wish and you are free to engage with them.
Lastly, players will be revealed on the teams they played/finished the 2022 season with.

RANKING RELEASE SCHEDULE

The Honorable Mentions (125-101) will be released Tuesday. June 6th. The reveal will begin on Thursday, June 8th with spots 100-91. From there we will release a list every Tuesday and Thursday. The Post Mortem will follow the week after all reveal threads.
