So a couple weeks ago a Google recruiter reached out to me about applying to be a SWE Intern. I have my OA in a week but I am far from ready. I was provided the option of giving a later date to do the OA but i was wondering if I should use that extension and if so how long after today should I ask for. I was thinking till the end of June but I don’t know.

My husband (28m) and I (25f) have been married since October of 2022, and together for 3 1/2 years. We decided very early on in our relationship that neither of us want kids. I’ve always known that I don’t want to be a parent. The idea of pregnancy absolutely terrifies me. I can’t even feed my cat wet food without retching, so changing diapers, spit-up, etc. would be a no-go for me. I have goddaughters that I love as if they were my own, but knowing that they’re not coming home with me at the end of the day is what makes me want to spend more time with them (lol).
I’ve been on the pill since I started dating my husband, and knowing what we both want and also knowing that I don’t want to be on birth control for a long time, my husband and I agreed that he’d get a vasectomy. He reached out to his doctor, who scheduled his procedure for January of 2024. When the doctor called to confirm a date for a consultation, he was asking him “are you confident in this decision” etc., and my husband said “yes, we’re confident” and in that moment I got a little feeling of uncertainty in my chest. I don’t know why. Part of me wonders if it’s FOMO, like we’d be missing out if we don’t have kids.
I brought it up to my husband and told him how I was feeling. We agreed to keep it an open conversation, and that January gives us a long time to think. We’re both still on the same page that we absolutely don’t want kids, but I still can’t get over the fact that I had that little moment of uncertainty. Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

I had trouble sleeping that morning. I woke up at 3 AM. I woke up sweating, I instantly went up to get some water to drink. I then took ten minutes to open the pain of an ass window that I have in my bedroom.
I assumed that it must’ve been my meds that kept me awake. On the second day I started taking them, I was up until 3 AM. I slept for another hour at some point. I gave up on trying to sleep once it was 6 AM. I took a shower. Not because I wanted to wake myself up, but to get myself ready for work.
I got to work around 10 AM, luckily didn’t deal with the stranger from the day before. I was going to work a lunch buffet at my new job. I’ve done those before, but it’s much more people than Im usually used to. I’ve met some more servers, and I kept ‘training.’ It’s pretty much what I’m used to, but I have a feeling that things are a bit more disorganized.
With my uncle and brother, we pretty much have a strict way on doing things. But nearly everyone here kinda does their own way of doing things. It still gets the job done, but it would be nice if there was a way of doing things.
I was shocked by how the servers were making it more difficult to work by bringing all the plates to the back with their own hands instead of using trays to carry everything.
Doing the buffet wasn’t difficult, well, the only really difficult part being the guests who can be picky. Or the guests who are being smartasses by ignoring me whenever I asked if they’re finished with their plate. It went pretty well though, my supervisor (the family friend who got me the job) seems to be happy with my work so far. He mentioned how I work similar to him, which was a big compliment, I’ve heard from many about how my father was one of the best employees. He also says I resemble my father a lot, but I don’t really see it. People usually say my brother is the one who looks like him. I’m the one that’s the most like my father the good and the bad. I’m pretty sure my mom has even noticed.
I ended up clocking out at around 2 PM. I didn’t actually get home until 4 PM since my manager wanted to speak to me about getting me a schedule. I get to pick any of the shifts I want to work, which is very nice. I soon went on my way home.
I then got an email. “Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival returns to Dodger Stadium November 11-12, 2023.”
Shit. I might actually have a chance to go. I return from Japan on November 8. The original plan was to head home through taking a flight from LA to here since it would save more money. But fuck… I might change my plans.
November 8 is just literal days away from Camp Flog Gnaw. I started thinking of a plan until I noticed my best friend had the same thought once he started messaging me about the news. I was probably making a rushed decision that could cause some consequences. But I was listening to No More Parties In LA, so could you blame me.
Once I started thinking about the lineup that could possibly show up, and the surprise guests that could possibly show up. Tyler is definitely going to be there. Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem are pretty much confirmed. There’s a good chance Steve Lacy might be there. I was pretty much sold on the idea once I let my imagination running, especially since I originally planned on going to both Kendrick and Steve’s tours last year, but both were sold out.
Shit, it was an easy decision. I’ll be chilling in LA for a bit until the festival. Fuck, I guess I’m going to be having to save NMPILA for my SOTD when I actually arrive to LA in November. I’m hyped.
I should be good with my family about it. I never exactly told him how much time I’d be gone. So this could work in my favor.
I then got home and instantly ordered some shit for me to eat because I was starving and didn’t feel like making myself something to eat. I then started doing my laundry before heading to the shower since I needed it.
I was actually going to game a bit with my new friend until my father and his girlfriend came in. I was about to bite into my food as well. Nearly screamed into my pillow for a moment once his girlfriend pretty much demanded that we go to Costco. Pretty sure I might’ve upsetted my friend once I told her that I won’t be able to play mortal kombat, so that’s nice.
So we went to Costco. I bought some sandals that didn’t even end up fitting me. I would return them, but I lost my fucking receipt at some point before I got home. I bought this very nice button up. I also bought some groceries as well, the usual stuff my family eats.
I didn’t really do much after that besides actually getting some time to rest. I finally got a chance to eat. I then finished my laundry. I didn’t really do much besides watching some more Boardwalk Empire, I’m reaching the end of season 3. I then finished up my journal, which ended up being one of my longer ones in months. It was a nice surprise. Today was a decent day.

after you reach the endgame. From what I heard legedaries and uniques cant be bought right? But how do you compete in the endgame? Is there a certain currency in this game which can be traded and is at some point necessary to progress your build? Or is this game just a big solo self found mode? My d3 days are long gone, but didnt it have an aucion house or smth?
Like why should I even hurry to get as soon as fast as possible? By the amounts of guides out there already, it seems most content is already kinda explored. If the quickest players have no advantage in any kind by making bank, then why even rush?

Hi guys I need your help
So I bought a ps5 in February and gave my ps4 to my best friend in May. And before giving it to my friend I played a lot of elder ring with my brother in coop. He played on ps4 and I on ps5. And not only elden ring like every game with multiplayer worked. So just to make it even clearer I played with my best friend before on ps4(his cousin brought his ps4 with him when he visited him). So there shouldn't be any problema if we want to play. I played with him before and I could play with my ps5 with my brother who played on my ps4.
So now when I gave him my ps4 and we tried to play tekken 7. It wouldn't work. We made a private lobby and when he joined the Internet Symbole was crossed out. We choose the characters and the map but then we had to wait a bit just to get a error. "Communication problem" thats what came every time we tried it. But not just tekken. We tried jump force - "The connection could not be established". We tried Monster hunter "Session could not be joined".
So no matter what game it wouldn't work. There are only 2 games that work gta 5 a game I dont really enjoy to be honest😂 and brawlhala but I am not sure if he enjoys that because I am extremely good in brawlhala and he is a beginner he always says its fun for him but I don't think he has that much fun😂.

I don't how how to put this, but as someone who has always been the black sheep of my family, this is something that seriously got out of hand. I do or pursue anything that I want only to get told that I am either incapable, incompetent, lazy or that I am not some big shot to be able to try or remotely attempt to do anything to improve my life or upskill myself. I am due to see a therapist, but the simplest act of me signing up for an online course or even attempting to learn a new skill is met with so much disdain that it was in the initial stages, hurtful. I believe that fullfillment of personal goals and a decent education is something within anyone's reach but today I got told by my mom to simply aim for an ' ordinary life' and not attempt to remotely set any goals for myself. Like I got berated today by being told that I am not some big shot celebrity so I should definitely stop trying to be one. I wish to do a PhD in the future and got told today that I am expecting too much and setting unrealistic goals for myself. I know that I will never be enough in the eyes of my family but then going out of their way to prevent me from any form of self improvement is very toxic and disruptive. I mean I get it I am different, but we are all ordinary people who can defitinely be extraordinary if not more as long as hard work meets opportunity and we get the right guide of people to guide and facilitate us in life. Its not a big secret that component pouches are slightly superior to spellcasting foci, since they work for all classes and dont require you to hold them. However, their functionality is not quite clear for me. I thought of a scenario to exemplify - I wanted to hear your thoughts on it.
Lets imagine a Wizard with an Artificer dip called Alfred.
Alfred wears medium armor and a shield and has a component pouch hanging on his belt.
Alfred is in a corridor with a closed (but not locked) door, and behind the door he hears the cultists chanting to conjure a demon.
Alfred wants to cast Web (wizard spell) with his Action, but he needs to get into a risky position to land a good spot, which might leave him vulnerable to attacks. Alfred is bold so he goes for it, as he is confident his Shield (wizard spell) spell will protect him.
Now, how does this play out? Alfred uses his movement to get to the door and object interaction to open it. He proceeds to use his action to reach for the pouch, grab the components and cast the Web spell. His turn ends.
What is not clear for me is
Does he have a free hand to cast Shield spell?
Would he need an object interation to put the components back into the pouch?
Does he need to drop the components on the floor in order to have a free hand?
Could he reach to the pouch in the first place, since he had already spent his object interaction?

Hi everyone. So I have a lot of memory problems due to my trauma. I was often gaslit and accused of being a liar and such growing up so now that I’m an adult, it’s hard to trust what I know. I often second guess myself and end up just letting people walk all over me cause even if I KNOW I did something, if they tell me I didn’t, my brain goes back to believing I’m a liar and I didn’t do it. I’m trying so hard to break out of that cycle and trust myself more and of course the universe hands me a hard one to face.
Back in January I booked a memorial tattoo for my cat. I put $120 down for the deposit and we agreed to an estimate of $600. During the first session I paid $400 which would’ve brought me to $520. Tomorrow is my second appointment and I called and asked just to verify how much I owe. I was told $300. I was immediately confused and asked how I owe $300. He later reached out to me and said I only paid $380 total. I know I paid more than that and I am trying so hard to keep pushing because I’m not going to be taken advantage of anymore. Idk what to do. I’ve even told myself over and over, even if I misremembered and I did pay $380 instead of $400, that with the $120 deposit I made would equal $500.
I just keep repeating to myself “I’m not a liar. Im not a bad person. Im not a liar. Im not a bad person.” Because standing up and speaking out is making me so anxious. Let’s hope it goes well :(
Also, I can’t look back at a bank statement or anything to show what I paid because I paid in cash. Most tattoo shops in my area only take cash and I’ve gotten work done at this shop plenty of times I didn’t think I needed to be worried about a payment problem :(

The main question: For London, how quickly did tickets sell out? Minutes? Hours? Days?
The main reason for my question is that I own a travel company that specializes in Japan and I wanted to package self-guided tours to Japan before StarWars Celebration, but can't really guarantee tickets, so I'm curious how bad it is going to be when tickets are released (based on past events).
I have reached out to SWC directly asking if I can pre-purchase a block of tickets, but until I hear back, I have to assume that anyone booking with me because they are going to SWC is on their own to get tickets and I would like to inform them as accurately as possible about how easy or hard it will be to get tickets.

I have a 265 gallon tank that will be ready to set up soon, so I'm trying to plan ahead with what I should stock it with. It will have a Fluval FX6 canister filter, which should be more than adequate for a tank this size.
I currently have an Armored Pleco, about 8 inches in length and 5 Pictus Catfish, all about 4 to 6 inches. The Pleco can potentially reach 24 inches, so I'll need to keep that in mind. I love catfish! It would be awesome to have an all cat tank, but im open to all suggestions! There is one catfish that I currently covet, but I don't know if it will be a good fit: the Shovelnose catfish! There is some mixed information about how large they get, some say they max out at 24 inches, some say they can get above 3 feet. Any chance the Pictus catfish would be big enough to not get eaten? Would 265 gallons even be large enough to keep one happy?
